Memory Verse: Matthew 28: 20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:  and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.

Intro: Never Leave Home Without It (Marketing Credit:  American Express) Diapers, bottles, wipes, bibs, pacifiers, extra clothing, cell phone, PDA, ipod, iphone, credit or debit cards … what would you never leave home without?

Assignment: In the memory verse Jesus tells us that He will never leave us, not even at the end of the world.  He assures us in this verse that He will be with us and that means through everything we go through in life.  I thought it would be interesting to write about the things we would never leave home without.  For some it might be baby needs, others it might be a gym bag and bottle of water, and for some  it might be your Bible and a notepad or small journal, maybe even your son or daughters favorite blankie!  I’d like for you to write about something that you would never leave home without.

I know I haven't done BFS in awhile but this one seemed to find it's way in my plans today. I should have written it days ago but here we go anyway.

I have to admit that my children are to old per-say for a 'diaper bag' but I do need a large tote to carry all the things we like to have with us whenever we go out.

For myself, I need, my cell phone, my wallet containing my debit card, licence, business cards (just in case I run across somewhere I can leave a few, then I need my inhaler for my asthma, my camera for those 'Kodak moments', my insulin (in case we are out during meal times), my sketch book, pencils, and whatever book I am reading (in case we end up somewhere where the children are working or playing and I have time to wait and read. Last but not least my daily planner just in case I need to remind myself of an appointment or need to schedule something.

For the children I carry their wallets (I am trying to get the girls to carry their own pocketbooks so I don't have to carry their wallets) I have a medicine case that contains tummy meds, antacids, Tylenol, rescue remedy and a few others we often find ourselves without. I also like to have a change of clothes for everyone in the car at all times. I have a sweater tote that I keep packed in there. We often have last minute sleep overs at someones house or sometimes my daughter works late doing horse teeth and decides to stay the night with her mentor. I will admit we are often caught unprepared but I have the best of intentions to be ready.

This assignment was a lot of fun. I can't wait to read everyone elses!
