My Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window ~ it is a bit cloudy today, maybe we will get some rain. The horses are grazing and the dogs are running about. There are a few birds singing their praises and it sounds sweet.

I am thinking ~ of all the crafts I have done this past week and praying the Lord will bless the works of my hands and bring sweet buyers to the craft show.  

I am thankful for ~  My husband, my children, my dear dear friends, the freedom to homeschool, the open fields for my furry friends to enjoy, the air I breath (which by the way isn't always easy with Asthma) I am thankful that the Lord my God loves me always.

I am creating ~ quilted pot holders and maybe a few more Note Cards.

From the kitchen ~ I can hear the pounding of the hammer to break up some ice and the sound of dishes being put away.

I am going ~ to town today to get some supplies for an art class I will be taking soon, and grab some dog food and salad fixins. 

I am reading ~ nothing at the moment, I have only been crafting lately.

I am hoping ~ that today we can change something in our lives for the better.

I am hearing ~ some music that is playing somewhere in the house, and the thoughts of THINGS TO DO in my mind.

Around the house ~ we will continue some crafts and take some time this afternoon to pick more cherries from the cherry tree to freeze.

A few plans for the rest of the week ... ~ spring cleaning, drawing, enjoying the outdoors., getting pumpkin groomed.(still haven't done that)  and more drawing. hehe
