I know many of you bake your own bread. And with prices on everything rising, you may be looking for ways to keep costs down.Early last year, the folks over at the Keeping A Family Cow discussion board were experimenting with a new "no knead" bread technique. Well I gave it a try and have been hooked ever since. It uses flour, water, salt, and a tiny bit of yeast so you save a bundle on the more extravagent ingredients like honey, oil, and dough conditioners.
This method creates a rustic, artisan-style loaf and is so easy, your 6-year-old can make it! If you are curious, you can read about it on my blog here.
Happy baking and don't be afraid to experiment with this recipe.
