May's giveaway!!!

Posted in Contests

CONTEST TIME!!!!
And what a GREAT prize we have for you!
A one year subscription to Season's at Home magazine.
Summer Seasons at Home
This is a giveaway from Theresa from Joyous Home

All you have to do is leave a comment on why you would like a subscription to the magazine and we will have a drawing next week! Simple as that!

Kris Price's review of the Spring 2008 issue of Seasons at Home.

~After receiving my second issue of Seasons at Home, I have to say that I am still as impressed with the content as I was with the premiere issue in Fall 2007. There are so many wonderful articles and projects in this 100+ page magazine. Rag quilting, Ribbon embroidery, Homemade grain pasta, making ice cream, Putting up Food (canning).  Some homeschool articles about Geography and Science, a "Dad's project" - "Build a simple Hope Chest" for a little ladies room, Build a Morse Code Box for boys, Little Ladies Victorian Tea, of course encouragement articles throughout.
And the encouraging, uplifting articles are also appreciated by this stay-at-home mom. I encourage people to take a really close look at this publication which has well-written project instructions that even children can understand!

I can't wait for the Summer issue to arrive in my mailbox!~

So leave us a comment and check back to see who wins!
Blessings to each and everyone of you!
From My Homestead to Yours,
~Chas~

Being a stay-at-home, work-from-home, homeschooling, single momma - I try to be as frugal and self-sufficient as possible. This can be a difficult task most of the time. This magazine looks like a great tool to help me and my daughter be more of a *do-it-yourself* family.

Posted by fcusick

I am a homeschooling mom of 3. I am a volunteer aholic with 3 children who have the same disease. I feel like we are always running. I have been trying to slow down and need all the help I can get to make life more simple. I am now learning to grow a garden, can, no tv, etc. But life is a process and I would love to win this so I can continue to live a more simple life for God!

Thank you!
Blessings,

I would love to have a chance to view this magazine. I have heard wonderful things about it. I am most curious about it because it says that it gives the "how" to do things. I am full of head knowledge on issues such as being the Proverbs 31 women, but get stuck in the practical application part of things. Ideas for getting started and staying started would be nice. It is my understanding that this is what the magazine focuses on.
Many Blessings,

I would love to win a copy of this as I am still learning how to use whole grains... the wheat I've got pretty much but the millet, flax seed, etc. still escapes me.

It sounds like the kind of magazine not available anymore. Based on morals, homemaking skills (a forgotten skill) and the Bible, what more could you want in a good read.

Count me in!!! I have been wanting to get this!!! I got one trial and loved it. I just went through the process of ordering a year subscription but was having second thoughts because we already spent money on me to help family on two courses one spirtual and one for family health. We also got a juicer and blender. It would be so wonderful if I was to win this because this is another thing that I know could help me grow and bless my family. Who ever does win it I know it will be a wonderful blessing the magazine is great!! Thank you for giving us the apportunity!

Wow! What a wonderful magazine! My family's goal for when my husband retires is to purchase our own homestead and become self-sufficient. I have started researching different aspects of homesteading and have been attempting what I can while living overseas for the next few years. I would love to hit the ground running and not have to learn absolutely everything by trial and error. :) Thank you for offering such a wonderful give-away. Have a blessed week!
