Definitely "old fashioned" but a wonderful "read aloud" the whole family will enjoy.
 

Flower Children: The Little Cousins of the Field and Garden
by Elizabeth Gordon

This  classic little picture book from 1909 contains delightful color pictures of different varieties of flowers depicted as small children, along with rhymes. Lots of fun for little ones and a neat way to learn about all the flowers of the garden and the wild, as well as remember the names of different flowers.
