Our featured blogger for this week is Farrah of Keeper of the Home. She joined us in January 2007 and has been blogging regularly for our community since then.

Farrah began milling her own wheat shortly after beginning her blogging adventure. I have to say that I'd like to help her get a question answered, so check out her post on Gardening in Freezing Weather and maybe you can help her out! She has pondered the worth of the Titus 2 woman, contentment, and frugal grocery shopping.
She shared several wonderful recipes for Spiced Apples, Nancy's Chicken Pockets and Thin Pizza Crust that I definitely must try! I love the Homemaking poem that she recently shared, too. Her article on eating local vs. organic food gave me some new information to think about. It was fun for me to realize that she and I share a common interest in some of the same books, too - Passionate Housewives Desperate for God and Mrs. Dunwoody's Excellent Instructions for Homekeeping. I have both of these and highly recommend them!
Farrah recently shared a link about Green Living, and some basic information about fasting, but her latest post on being happy as a wife and mother is one of my favorite posts from Farrah. She may not have pictures on her blog or the most posts, but I can tell that Farrah is a genuine person just trying to take the best care of her family that she can. Stop by her blog and say hello - you just might make a new friend!
