Here is what we can do to try to stop the trackback spamming.
Go to your SETTINGS- then TRACKBACKS. Go and disable both of the boxes there. That will keep you from automatically having trackbacks enabled on your posts and having it search to do trackbacks on your posts.
Then, go into your entries where you have trackbacks- some of us have it on just about all of our entries. What you need to do is under the post, where it says:
Who can read?
Entry category?
Allow comments?
Allow trackbacks?
etc...
On those posts that you have trackbacks, you need to check the box on the Allow Trackbacks? to NO. This will take the trackback feature off the post.
We are diligently working on fixing this problem, but in the meantime, this should keep the hundreds of emails from filling your inbox with trackback notifications.
