Homemade Clean: EASY & Frugal Hair Rinse

This is Soooooooo simple with GREAT results!

In our family, we womenfolk have hair... LOTS of LONG LONG HAIR!

To Keep it SUPER clean, shiny and beautiful….we’ve found a rinse with a cup or so of Vinegar is the perfect solution!  Easy, Frugal and it works wonderfully!

Happy Homemade Clean!

Lisa~

Just wondering the process, do you use shampoo & conditioner as usual then apply the white vinegar then rinse again?

I just remembered reading once that adding orange peel to your white vinegar helps to rid of the vinegar-y smell. Also, white vinegar helps with dry itchy scalp & dandruff.

Thanks!

This sounds like a good idea. I have not tried. I have used Witch hazel when it seems to be soap buildup on the scalp. This is probably better!

You can shampoo/condition and then rinse or just do the rinse alone, a personal preference thing I think :)

Also--rinsing WELL is key--to avoid that lovely Vinegar smell--I use a sweet pea hair wetting spray and it completely removes any residual vinegar smell and replaces it with a sweet pea scent that is heavenly!

You could surely improvise here with whatever works for you and yours ;)
