Hi Guys!
Are you ready for a new gardening year? I know I am! We've had warm days recently, and that along with a new seed catalog or two is all it takes to get me dreaming of new gardens to plant. Our family will be moving again sometime in the next 90 days, so my actual gardening is on hold for now. We're not even 100% sure where we will be moving, so I don't even know what type of garden I will be able to have. That won't stop me from making my wish lists for seeds and new plants, and dreaming up lots of new gardeny things to try, though.
Since we are into a new year, here are a couple of questions for you:
1. What would you like to see discussed here in the Front Porch garden plot? Are there things you want to learn, plants you have questions about, etc.? Give me some ideas for things you would like to participate in, too. Seed swaps could be fun, maybe a contest or two during the growing season... I know gardeners are very creative folks, so please jump in and give me some ideas to make this year in the Front Porch garden get off to a great start!
2. Do any of you participate in a CSA and/or a food co-op? I'm looking for input and ideas for possibly starting one in my area.
3. Where is your favorite place to purchase seeds and plants? I'm having a wonderful time marking in my Pinetree Garden Seeds catalog and the Bountiful Gardens catalog has given me some new ideas, too.
OK, hope these questions get your creative juices flowing and you'll share your thoughts and ideas with us! Blog your answers and then leave a comment so we can read them, or just put them in the comments here if you prefer.
Blessings,
