The Future of Raw Milk in Georgia
Posted in News and Issues
The Georgia Department of Agriculture is considering a drastic measure to discourage consumers from, well, "consuming" raw milk.
What's that extreme measure?
Regulating the requirement to dye raw milk charcoal gray..........Read the latest here.
Regardless of what the Georgia Agriculture Commissioner is quoted as saying, sounds like politics with corporate agriculture as usual!

...like anyone I know who feeds raw milk to their animals (and I do know a few) wants to feed them chemical dyes. Usually the whole point of owning livestock and monitoring what they eat is that "you are what you eat, eats" and they don't want to eat the chemical crap. Now, Tommy Irvin's little (large) gang of thugs wants to dye food.
This coming from a department that has overseen two large plant closings in the state of GA in the last 6 months due to botulism (Castleberry chili) and salmonella (peanut butter that tracked back more than 4 months!). Yep, this crowd is so efficient in what they currently oversee, they want more responsibility!
I'm buying my own cow. Will they make me dye my own milk? Cowards.

Here in N.C., that "dye in the raw milk" law has just been passed : ( I wonder if the government will ever back off and let us make our own decisions as responsible adults.
