Win Cleaning Cloths from The Urban Homemaker!

Posted in Featured Sponsors

Here's another chance for someone to win the Enviro Cleaning Cloths! We had lots of great entries last month!

We have 2 special gifts for one lucky blogger this week!

The fine folks from Urban Homemaker have just started carrying a new line of environmentally friendly cleaning products that they'd like to introduce to you.

This week, they have donated one Enviro Cloth and one Window Cloth for our blogger of the week.

Check them out:

The antibacterial Enviro Cloth is a multipurpose cleaning cloth which can be used dry or damp for cleaning walls, tiles, bathtubs, counters, metal surfaces, car interiors and more. The unique anti-bacterial cloth prevents cross contamination, traps germs inside the cloth and destroys them within a few hours. Clean these cloths by simply wringing it out and hanging to dry. Keep one in the bath, one in the kitchen, and one in the car or laundry. 13” X 13” size. Price is per individual cloth.
Price: $12.50

The window cloth allows you to clean your windows, mirrors, and shiny surfaces with water alone. Clean dirty surface first with a moist Enviro Cloth then polish with the Window cloth for a guaranteed streak-free surface. We tried this on a window with the sun shining on it. With substantially less effort the windows had no streaks. If you dislike window washing like I do, you will be delighted to obtain an effective cleaning cloth requiring less work. 17”x17” size. Can be used with with the Mop System.
Price: $14.50

If you'd like to win this week's prize (and who wouldn't?!), just comment and tell us about your latest cleaning project around the house or the one that is still waiting to be done.

I'll see if I can find someone to choose the lucky winner for me on Friday.

Blessings,
Nancy Carter

Oooh Oooh pick me pick me lol. I just ordered a bunch of "environmentally correct" cleaning products and this would be a great match to them. Match.com couldn't put two better products together lol. How long must they keep waiting. Ok seriously, I like everyone else would love to try them. Thanks for making it possible. God Bless,
Kim

Oh these would be so great to have! I ahve multiple chemical sensitivity and I've been changing my household over to natural cleaners and cleansing products. We started with the bathroom, all natural cleaners in there and all the soaps/shampoos are also all natural ~ but what's more natural than water??!! These cloths would be such a great help in the rest of the house ~ living here in the North where the house is closed up all winter, it's really important to not throw chemicals into the household air ~ they linger and make us all ill. well thanks for listening to my plea ~ so pleeeaasse pick me!

With 4 kids and 4 dogs cleaning is a constant job around here The idea of having something that would allow me to clean more effectively and without harsh chemicals is very appealing

okay, I reeaallllllyyyyyy need these. My house, which I love, was built with many (read 37) large picture windows, most of which are low enough for 6 small-to-tiny handprints of mud, pizza sauce, strawberry juice, honey, blowfishes... you get the idea; and on the upper halves of these windows, box elder bugs and flies like to land (and where I can most easily whack them), leaving stuff that needs cleaning. And that is just the inside!
So, my point is, I really need something I can reuse so I do not spend a fortune on window cleaning supplies. and something easy and non-toxic so the kids can clean up their own messes. LOL!

One entire wall of my bedroom is mirrored closet doors. 4 big mirrored doors. Usually I only clean them when I'm about to have a homebirth. So, every 2-3 years. I probably should clean them (and the windows) more often. I'd love to try these cleaning cloths out!

(said with my best Horseshack impersonation). We bought this really old house before Christmas and everything is STILL covered with renovation dust. I keep envisioning myself with bottles and bottles of blue window cleaner and warehouse size packages of paper towels and it just pains me so! I know it's spring and everything should be pristine and green, but my windows are covered in dust and it's got me all mean because my scene should be clean!

Jun. 3, 2007 - cleaning chore around the house

Posted by marilynBoothBladow

being in a wheel chair I have to find my own ways to do cleaning. My best helper is the vacume. I can dust the upper cabinets and venetian blinds and of course the louvered doors to the heater. Beings that we are still in stage 1 and a half of making the house handicapped accessible it is always a construction zone cleaning is a constant job.
