6 Important Steps to Stain Removal
-
You are more likely to meet with success if you get to the a stain when it happens. Always attempt to remove any stain when it is wet or fresh.
-
Always follow the care label on your garments and carpeting.
-
Always test an inconspicuous area before applying any stain remover. The product that works miracles on denim may cause a stain on silk.
-
Blot stains with a dry absorbent cloth, (preferably white so you can gauge your progress) until the cloth comes out clean.
-
When working with fabric place an absorbent towel beneath the stain so it won’t run onto something else.
-
Especially in the case of carpeting, when in doubt call a professional.
