Win an Enviro Cloth & a Window Cloth from Urban Homemaker!
Posted in Featured Sponsors
We have 2 special gifts for one lucky blogger this week!
The fine folks from Urban Homemaker have just started carrying a new line of environmentally friendly cleaning products that they'd like to introduce to you.
This week, they have donated one Enviro Cloth and one Window Cloth for our blogger of the week.
Check them out:

The antibacterial Enviro Cloth is a multipurpose cleaning cloth which can be used dry or damp for cleaning walls, tiles, bathtubs, counters, metal surfaces, car interiors and more. The unique anti-bacterial cloth prevents cross contamination, traps germs inside the cloth and destroys them within a few hours. Clean these cloths by simply wringing it out and hanging to dry. Keep one in the bath, one in the kitchen, and one in the car or laundry. 13” X 13” size. Price is per individual cloth.

The window cloth allows you to clean your windows, mirrors, and shiny surfaces with water alone. Clean dirty surface first with a moist Enviro Cloth then polish with the Window cloth for a guaranteed streak-free surface. We tried this on a window with the sun shining on it. With substantially less effort the windows had no streaks. If you dislike window washing like I do, you will be delighted to obtain an effective cleaning cloth requiring less work. 17”x17” size. Can be used with with the Mop System.
Price: $14.50
If you'd like to win this week's prize (and who wouldn't?!), just comment and tell us about your latest cleaning project around the house or the one that is still waiting to be done.
I'll see if I can find someone to choose the lucky winner for me on Friday.
Blessings,
Nancy Carter

Now that sounds amazing ... both of those. I am trying to figure out what they must be made out of. I'll have to go look at the website. :-)

hmmm ... I could use those to clean my ceiling fans, vinyl blinds, the huge mirrored closet doors in my bedroom, the windows of the house that I rarely ever clean, the car, the air intake vents, the entertainment center which needs to be dusted again.

Apr. 30, 2007 - These sound too good to be true
Posted by rashel
I have looked at these before with longing eyes. :)They sound too good to be true and I would love the chance to use them. I have been trying to rid my home of all the harsh chemicals, especially the ones in cleaners. My whole house would benefit from these products and with four kids, there are always handprints on the windows. These products would be great for my little ones to use without the worry of using harsh chemicals. Sounds like great training tools. Thank you for the chance to win them.

I have 3 kids and 2 dogs and a sliding glass door that refuses to stay clean (among other things). Maybe these would help me to "want" to clean more often ha ha.
God Bless,
Kim

Here are a few unsolicitied testimonials I received from customers about the Norwex, microfiber cloths:
Here are a few testimonials I have received:
<<<Also, I just recently bought the chemical free cloths and absolutely love them. I am thrilled with the window cloth, as I have lots of windows and I like them to be clean. Windex just wasn't doing the job. Thanks for the wonder products you offer.
Andrea S>>>
<<<Marilyn,
I received my cloths and .....
I am sooo excited...I cannot contain myself......about these miracle cloths. I started writing a testimony as I ‘ve used them for tons of things and cleaning is not a drag, I will finish it tomorrow. I’m so eager to sell these and I hate selling!!!! I will try to call tomorrow also. S Stasio>>>
<<<I LOVE the Norwex cloths. I cleaned the glass in my refrigerator with the wet regular cloth and then dried with the window cloth and it was so much easier. Then I cleaned my sliding glass door that always has my dog's nose prints on it, and it was so much easier than hauling out the Windex and paper towels. Maybe I'll clean it more often now. :-)>>>

I could use those in my 170+ year old home. It is the dustiest place I've ever lived. I think much of the problem comes from how a previous owner put in the heating vent/duct system. There are only 3 vents in the whole downstairs - 1 in the bath, 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the livingroom. The area between the kitchen and livingroom is a large, open area. The places where the vents were set up has them facing each other, this means that the air current they put out "collides" and spreads throughout. This scatters dust all over! It's especially frustrating when you have JUST dusted and company comes over. As much as we enjoy our old home, I really miss the days - in other homes - when I could dust every Monday and Friday and be finished with it. Here...it seems the dusting never ends and I could use ANYTHING that would make it a little more pleasant.
Thanks for the offer!

May. 3, 2007 - What's not to love?

What??? The Enviro Cloth is anti-bacterial and prevents cross-contamination? Does this mean the dreaded cycle of an illness making its rounds through the entire family might possibly be eliminated? Count me in!
As for the window cloth, we have storm doors that are basically a sheet of glass from top to bottom. Between fingerprints left by the toddler, nose prints from the dogs and the designs in the fogged up glass left by the older kids - what's not to love about a more effortless cleaning procedure?
My latest cleaning project that still needs to be done: Everything! Cleaning is an ongoing project that never ends!
