Meredith (AKA
MamaDuke) is our featured blogger this week. She has been sharing her
humble beginnings on her homestead in TX with us here at HomesteadBlogger since December. I admire her family's desire to be as independent and self-sufficient as possible. She even came up with a really creative way to use
an old card table as a quilting frame.
I really enjoyed reading her Homestead Challenge entries especially the one about her
Little Homesteader making a cat bed and also appreciated her honest opinion about trying to make her own dish soap in
Soap Gone Bad.

I am so proud of MamaDuke. You see I am her husband, and I am touched by what she has done here. This Blog has been a real outlet for her, and the community has touched her in so many different ways. She is a real beacon in my life and my childrens.
