Jillian is now to come off the ventilator tomorrow morning at 10 am!!! YAY!! The vent is now set to 'iniated breaths only' so she is at least starting all her own breaths.
She may get to go home by this weekend!! She'll have to come back to the hospital again in a few weeks for more chemo of course, but right now things are looking good!
Her heart has now moved back to the center of her chest, b/c of the catheter that was inserted. The cath removed enough fluid to shrink the tumor enough to allow her heart to resume it's rightful spot :)
If you could pray though for the rest of Katie and Jeff's kids, they are all sick now with scratchy throats and runny yucky noses. Katie and Jeff CANNOT be sick, of course, b/c Jillian cannot get a secondary infection. So pray for the health of the kids.
Pray for the children's caretakers, Jerry and Sandy (grandparents) as well. They are doing everything but meals right now
Pray for excellent nursing staff as well. So far they've had a few issues with a few nurses, but have a few AWESOME ones that they've requested to have on their case all the time (they CAN do that :) ) so that's awesome. Their doctor is wonderful too.
Jillian is doing really really well right now. Now we just need to beat the cancer. :) And of course, for God, that's nothing :)
