We have so many great things about to launch here on The Front Porch! Starting tomorrow, and every Friday thereafter, we will have a special feature here called Putting Food By.
The panel consists of members of HomesteadBlogger who are ready to help get you ready for the growing and harvest season that is quickly approaching.
We are going to help you get your canning and preserving supplies together, help you understand the basics involved with canning and dehydrating foods, share ways to help you preserve your bounty using more healthy, low-sugar, and natural recipes, show the differences between preserving with low acid and high acid foods, give great advice for those starting out small or those planning a winter's worth of goods, as well as tips and tricks for all your canning, freezing, and dehydrating foods!
Our group will answer your questions and will offer from their experience and wisdom on how to put food by. But we want you to help too! If you have any questions you would like answered, or tips, recipes, or advice you would like to share with your fellow preservers here at HomesteadBlogger, submit them to the Front Porch by sending an email to Carla@HomesteadBlogger.com .
