The EPA is considering Methyl iodide to replace the ozone depleting (and harmful!) pesticide Methyl bromide in food production. Some of the crops it is used heavily on are strawberries, tomatoes, pepper, potatoes, and melons.
Let your voice be heard by signing this petition before February 21. Up until that date, the EPA is taking public comments on the registration of this harmful pesticide.
