Our HomesteadBlogger Featured Blogger of the Week is Stephanie Libby from My Green Dream.
Stephanie lives on a farmette in rural NH where she loves to cook, homestead, raise her flocks of chickens, and be outside closest to nature. She has the honor of taking care of her daughter, ‘Pixie’, in such gorgeous natural surroundings, and it is obvious when reading Stephanie’s posts how much wisdom she passes on to her little one.
Her blog is now decorated in green, perfect for reminding us that spring is but a few weeks away. Stephanie has the most gorgeous photos on her blog. Some of Pixie, or her cat, or flowers, or the natural scenery. One very neat item on her sidebar is the Wheel of the Year Photo project- where she takes a serious of photos from the same spot at different times of the year. This is a fabulous way to watch the seasons change!
StephanieÂ’s sidebar is loaded with informational links, resources, and rabbit trails to follow through the internet. She also has listed a very ambitious set of goals for the year. DonÂ’t miss her other community blog, Friends Across The Fence.
I enjoy reading her gifted writings about what she is growing, her plans for starting to sell her bounty at a local farmerÂ’s market, her day of candle dipping with Pixie, or her enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors. Stephanie will be contributing some of her writing talents to the BlogLibrary here on HomesteadBlogger.
Stephanie wins a copy of Rebekah MillerÂ’s book, The Hope Chest: A Legacy of Love. This book is perfect for Stephanie and Pixie. I am sure she will get much use from it as she fills a treasure chest with goodies for her daughter.
