Looks like I found a winner for The Old Schoolhouse subscriptions at HomeWith2! She's a homesteading, homeschooling mother of 2 in a suburb in Ohio and from reading her entries, I *think* she's also on the steering committee for her local homeschool group too! I'm sure she would be able to find someone in her group to bless with the extra one-year subscription to The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, in addition to the one-year sub for herself!

It is chock full of information and encouragement for the homeschooler and also for the homesteader! A gift subscription would make a wonderful gift for any homeschoolers on your list or you might let your loved ones know if you'd appreciate getting TOS as a gift. It will be one of the most beloved and well used gifts you may ever receive!
And don't forget about the Schoolhouse Store's after Christmas sale starting on Tuesday. It's going to be a whopper ~ with gifts for any family, not just homeschoolers! Personally, I'm trying to talk them into stocking more homesteading resources. Wouldn't you all just LOVE to be able to order your things there without having to pay shipping?!
