Christmas is almost here! My girls are counting down the days; and so am I. I love Christmas, but once again it has crept up on me and I'm "not quite" as prepared as I would like to be. So, this week I'll be a busy bee, cooking, crafting and cleaning. Notice, no gardening in that list?
I have a few gifts left to buy or make, and while pondering what to get these "hard to shop for" loved ones, I came up with an idea that some of you might be interested in, too.
Coupons for garden-fresh produce next Spring. Make a cute little coupon for a basket of fresh off the vine tomatoes or strawberries, whatever you grow each year. I'd not try to sneak the zucchini in on them
as a "gift"; but just about anything else from the garden would be a good gift. Just plan to add the zucchini in as a "surprise"
!!!
Or how about a coupon or "gift certificate" for a bouquet of fresh flowers from your garden?
Fresh herbs would also be a good idea.
You could make up several of these and give them a neat, handmade (or computer generated) coupon book. Maybe even one coupon for each month.
You can have a lot of fun with this, and give someone a very nice gift.
Have a Blessed Christmas!!!
