Some Wintery Tips today......
*Use sand, sawdust, or nonclumping cat litter instead of ice melters so you prevent damage to the adjacent lawn and plantings.
*Carefully remove snow from your evergreens with a broom in an upward motion. Serious damage may be caused by heavy snow or ice accumulating on the branches.
*Avoid walking on your dormant or frozen lawn. The grass is easily broken and the crown of the plant may be severely damaged or killed.
