I know that this has been going around by email, but I thought it would be fun to share it with all of you, my blogging buddies, online as well! Just answer these questions on your blog and then leave me a comment so we can all go read your answers!
1. Egg Nog or Hot
Chocolate? Hot chocolate... with
plenty of mini-marshmallows!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Wraps them... but we don't really do Santa... they are just special surprises. :o)
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I'm not sure. I was probably in 2nd grade and I saw my mom putting things under the tree Christmas Eve night. I was already beginning to doubt so I wasn't too shocked.
9. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve? We used to just open one on Christmas Eve, but depending on our schedule, sometimes we open all of them on Christmas Eve. That way things are more settled down and peaceful on Christmas Day!
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Lots of white lights, but then also some of those big fat colored lights. Lots of different ornaments. Some pretty multi-colored balls and hand-painted ornaments from my mom. And our topper broke last year, but I bought a new star this year. It's a pretty eclectic tree. The boys add anything they think will look good... it's a bit like an I Spy kind of tree.... Can you find the Superman? Can you find the candy canes? Can you find a leaf from outside?
11. Snow: Love it
or Dread it? Love it!!! I love to
watch the boys playing in it... from inside... where I'm cozy and
warm!
12. Can you ice
skate? No, I tried once, but I didn't like it... I felt like
that Moose on the ice in Brother Bear!
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Probably the lava lamp my grandpa gave me one year. I always loved the lava lamp at his house, but I never asked for one and he usually didn't do *big* presents like that. So it was so special that he wanted me to have one of my own at my house!
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Celebrating Jesus' birthday with Tony & the boys and friends.
Christmas Blessings,
