Leftover "Plates"
I always make a 'little extra' on Thanksgiving, ok a LOT. Anyhow, I have taken to, in the last few years, keeping some leftovers in the fridge for Friday or Saturdays meals of course, but then making up "Leftover Plates" with the remainder. This really USES all those leftovers! This is great for December when things get extra busy and who could ask for more, a delicious homemade meal, no mess, easy on Mom and frugal all at the same time?! A plate of Thanksgiving dinner,(you can even customize for each member of the family) this is so easy~just break out the plates, and all the leftovers, Start a mini production line and get those leftovers used up--no waste! Just seal in a plastic bag and freeze each plate (real dishes or heavy duty paper plates will do the trick. SIMPLE!
VOILA....a DELICIOUS meal, to just take out of the freezer and heat and eat.. Mmmm!
