One of the things that drew me to FernÂ’s blog and writings is her posts on how she celebrates the Biblical feasts and festivals. When she described her Shabbat preparations and Hannukah, both of which my family also observes, I was hooked. Add to that her wealth of knowledge, expertise, and a spirit of sharing from what she has learned, and you too, will find yourself visiting FernÂ’s blog often. Her posts on herbs, nutrition, and livestock are engaging, informative, and wise.
I also had the pleasure of visiting her website, FernÂ’s Homestead, and found myself reading her powerful testimony, her courageous battle with some debilitating diseases, and of her overflowing love for the Father. I can say that it is not often I hear one speak of the Father using the term, Abba, and when I do, I bend my ear a little closer to hear what they say. Listen to FernÂ’s words about faithfulness, surrender, and joy in her writings on her site. You will find yourself as moved and inspired as I was.
She also has a site about her critters on her Joyful Hearts Farm. My daughters and I enjoyed reading about her goats, ducks, and geese, and there are plenty of pictures there too! Information about her goats for sale is available on this site as well.
