As I was perusing blogs this week, I came along one with GREAT news! Seems like many in our community are busy trying to sell their homes right now. I thought maybe seeing her post would be an encouragement to some of you. But of course some of you might wonder where she's going. That's a really neat story. While so many people are spread out from family, they are actually choosing to share a house with her mom. I love to hear about families sticking together and returning to traditional values.
Thinking Woman is blogging with us from Connecticut. I'll let her profile speak for itself:
I am a gal from the burbs - I love the convenience of having things
nearby - but there's also a part of me reserved for country living. It
is that part that enjoys baking bread, making butter in a canning jar,
planting & using herbs in cooking, etc. You can be a homesteader
with less than an acre - that's me!
What she doesn't mention in her profile is that she is a former newspaper reporter and editor, but her knack with words definitely shines through. I tell what else shines through - her faith and her love of boots (I don't think I've seen anyone else do an entry about their boots!)And you might also notice her love for tea! I figured she would enjoy our gift from Seeds, Leaves and Flowers this week. They will be sending her a gift package of Green Tea Chewing Gum!
