Friday's Feast!
AppetizerIf you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?
Well, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine of course! When I first saw TOS a few years ago, I fell in love with the homeschool stuff, but now that it has the Natural Schoolhouse section with homesteady type articles, I love it even more!Soup - Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).
Our living room kind of has the shabby chic look, minus the chic! We have off white walls, a brown floral tapestry couch, a well-worn green recliner, a broken blue recliner that we need to dispose of, and a new leather recliner that we bought with a distressed finish so it would blend in with everything else! We have assorted pictures scattered around the room, my favorite Bible verse embroidered in a frame, a framed Charles Wysocki puzzle on the wall (cheap art), and paintings by my mother, and then the usual bookshelves, buckets & baskets of books!Salad - What does the shape of a circle make you think of?
Ummm... a cookie, the sun, the middle of a flower? Why do I feel like I'm taking an inkblot test?!Main Course - Name 3 things in your life that you consider to be absolute necessities.
OK, since it says *things* I won't try to figure out how to include my family & animals. I'd say.... clothes (I am NOT a nudist), a cozy bed (I don't like to rough it), and food (I like to eat!).Dessert - What was the last really funny movie you watched?
Wow, I'm really drawing a blank here. There's not much on the screen that can match the sense of humor of the Carter men here at my house! But if you want to see a funny video, just click here

Don't worry, I had to really stop and think about a movie I'd watched lately. Thankfully my nearly 12 year old had finally managed to talk me into renting Benchwarmers. Which, if you like that kind of humor, fits the bill nicely!
