It continues to be hot and steamy around our place....whewie! We are ready for some cooler weather but am soooo thankful for the A/C in our home. We just added a unit that keeps it so much cooler inside while I am canning and cooking in the afternoons.I saw at our local variety store that they had a whole aisle of really brightly colored cute tall glasses. Some were on stems, some were just plain fancy even though they were plastic!
All these bright and dazzling summer colors -- and only 30-50c each? If you can find a deal like that -- pick up 5 or 6. Grab a bag of brightly colored straws. The next time you have someone stop over - try this. I bet they'll be back for more!
Take each glass and put in 2 large scoops of pineapple sherbet. Fill to the top with 7-Up and throw a few pineapple chunks on top! Stick a straw in and pass them around. You'll feel like you are in the Haiwain Tropics
(I don't think I spelled that right? I need to go get a Pineapple Cooler Float to cool down so I can think straight!)
