For everything you need to know about saving seeds from your garden, check out this excellent site: seedsave.org .
Seed Savers Exchange is another good source for seeds and information on being a "seed saver".
Seed saving is a great way to be a frugal gardener.
A little packet of seeds from your favorite herb or flower would make a sweet gift for a friend, also. I was thrilled to receive seeds from one of our fellow bloggers in the mail last week! I can hardly wait to plant them, and they will be a lovely reminder of her generosity and kindess.
Save those seeds, share with others who are just getting started gardening, exchange seeds with other gardeners to add new varieties of plants to your gardens, give them as gifts...
Be a "seed saver"!
Garden Blessings to you,
Catherine
