So, how's the weather at your house?
It is raining cats & dogs at our house today. We needed the rain though so we're not complaining and it even waited until after the fireworks last night to start so we especially appreciate that!
I love the sound of a strong summer rain. So soothing. Not threatening. Just the perfect weather for reading a book and relaxing inside, although when I was a kid I would loved to go outside and play in this kind of rain. My mom was pretty good about letting me do that too.
I loved to take an umbrella outside and just walk around stomping in puddles, standing underneath the eaves of the house where the rain would just pour off, and setting out buckets just to watch them fill with rain water. Yep, rainy days bring me lots of happy memories.
