Today its just plain FUN. Cleaning those bathrooms!

It’s nice when you have company coming to stay, to not only have clean, tidy bathrooms (well, that is nice year round, believe me!) but to have some extra hand towels out, possibly a few extra toothbrushes, bars of soap, etc –for guests who may have forgotten to bring theirs–and it’s just hospitable. :) 

I have been to relatives (who shall remain nameless–lol) to stay for holidays and had to use their bathroom, and suffice to say, it was not tidy, and surely did not resemble clean–and it just grossed me out.  I am not a froo froo kinda girl, but when you can walk in a bathroom and think– ‘yeeeeeeeIKEs, what is growing in HERE!?!’ or ‘what am I gonna catch if I sit on that seat?!’  it’s high time to clean the bathroom. 

Enough rambling from me….let’s get to cleanin’ the bathroom!

 Bathroom Scrub~ Grab another one of your old containers (old tupperware/canning jar, etc), add in a 1/2 cup of both Baking Soda and Borax, 1TBS of Salt and I sprinkle in drops of Lemon Juice (about a TBS full will do the job) now, I say ’sprinkle in’ because you don’t want your liquid caking in to one big clump with your dry ingredients! Mix this slowly, as you add your lemon juice a drop or so at a time.  Once you have it all in the container–put the lid on tightly and shake it up! You now have made a great non toxic scrub for your toilets, showers and tubs! Now with some elbow grease and one of those green scratchie pads and/or a toilet brush, you’ll have sparkling clean tubs and toilets! (Again you can add Essential Oils–Lemon, Lemon~Lavender, Orange, Tea Tree…whatever you desire, as long as it has anti~bacterial properties and you like it!).
