Another Storm????

May you walk with the Lord today!

Oh boy, another storm is forecasted starting tomorrow and going through Thursday!  There are still thousands of people with no electricity and if this storm is as bad as our last one, it will be tough for many people.  My best friend has been with me since Sunday afternoon and is going home tonight, but she may end up coming back again!  I made a quick grocery run for milk, oranges and hot dogs.  Many workers for the electric company from out of state have come here to help repair downed poles and wires.  It is such a good feeling to see Americans reach out to help others.  Sadly, I read in the paper of one such worker who fell from his boom truck and was killed.

As for the recipe questions I'll try my best to give the us names or my best description. Here goes:
Demerara Sugar - is a course light brown sugar traditionally used to sweeten coffee.
Icing Sugar - Confectioners sugar
Caster sugar - is a fine sugar, specifically for baking cakes etc
Double cream - is a full heavy cream (but not clotted)
Condensed milk - comes in a tin and is thick, sweet and sticky
Munchies - are a sweet produced by nestle, they are just over a centimetre square have a biscuit centre , covered with caramel and coated with chocolate.

My mum has type 2 diabetes but thankfully has very few cholesterol problems. She is losing sensation in some of her fingers and toes though. Congratulations on your cholesterol levels coming down.
If you try the puddings, be careful, I don't want you getting in trouble with your doctor.

I'm not looking forward to this storm! We lost power with the last one now with another coming we might lose it agian! As for the hacker... Somebody hacked on the site and put a picture of a little kid with blood running down his face, real disturbing, and had really fowl language. I didn't read it all but some one said it was something agianst the war in Iraq. And they screwed with a few other things, but I think they have them all fixed up now.
