Homestead e-Newsletter: New Issue and Call for Content
Posted on 28-Jun-2006 at 11:27 in Resources and Reviews - Post Comment
The Old Schoolhouse Magazine recently sent out the June edition of the Homesteader e-newsletter. All of the contributors had lots to share, and I'm blessed to be rubbing elbows with them myself. This month Senior Editor Nancy Carter asked me to share a little something about water conservation. I came up with 16 Ways to Conserve Water on Your Homestead. I hope it will be useful to you, whether you're out on the "back 40" or in town with a suburban 'stead.
I'm honored to announce that I've been asked to compile the Homestead e-news for the next three months. I'll be pulling together the July edition over the next two weeks, and I need your help! I've decided to focus on setting aside summer's bounty and emergency preparedness this issue. Have you written a blog entry about how you save up during the summer for the blustery days of winter? What about putting your thoughts down about preserving and setting aside resources during times of plenty? Whether you're into canning, hunting, or saving pennies for a rainy day, let me know your area of expertise. Other 'steaders are interested in hearing what you have to share about being prepared!
Leave me a comment here on Going Green with your blog or website address (for writing samples already available) or the topic you'd like to write about. Don't forget your email addy so I can get in contact with you!
