New Homeschool Year

I am excited for our homeschool year. We have already begun our year and although it is off to a slow start,it is off.We have started with a small review and have gotten our schedule together so that we don't have to hear mom what day do we go or how many days til we go.Now it is all on a monthly calender with all the info on it .They just look and find it is great.We homeschool all year round with typical yearly and family occassions intertwined in our schedule.So it gives them the break they need from our hectic schedule to relax and spend time with the family.Although I think no matter what a homeschool family does to attempt to get a break the kids are always learning something.I just hope everyone elses schedule is going well no matter what method of homeschooling your family uses.I will attempt to post our new curriculum info and other things we having going on or coming up soon.Blessings.

04:18, Friday, August 8, 2008 .. Posted by MissionaryMomI think it went well, but we didn't do any school yesterday, and we aren't quite done today. We still have to add a few subjects. I'd like to find a piano teacher for the kids too, but I haven't yet. I guess I will have to try teaching them myself, but I don't play the piano! What to do!
