My Garden To Do List For October 2007
- Box up pool and put in the garage.
- Remove the rest of the volunteer trees.
- Remove dead, dying and ugly plants.
- Remove all weeds.
- Prune all roses bushes.
- Add much soil to the garden.
- Level the yard and fill in holes.
- Seed the yard with Rye grass.
- Plant cool season veggies and herbs.
- Plant flowers … especially pansies.
- Add to this list as I remember what needs to be done! :)

Spinning Grandma is talking about making eggs stand up on their end on her blog ... sooooo, my family and I had to try it! Here is a picture of my standing egg. :)

we do that every spring. i found out last fall it works in on the first day of fall too, did you know that.
