Fruit of her hands

Picture of my daughter and her family...

01:30, Friday, August 29, 2008 .. 2 comments .. Link

My daughter stopped by a little while ago and dropped off a picture she got yesterday of her family, well I forgot to take a picture of it to post before I put it on the wall so I went ahead and still took a picture of it, it's just not as good.

So here is The Crawford family~ Dylan and Katie (my grandchildren) and Jennifer and Chris my daughter and son-in-law.~

Just wanted to pop on here and post this while I was thinking about it..

Thursday at the Allen household...

10:41, Thursday, August 28, 2008 .. Posted in Bits and pieces from Jo .. 3 comments .. Link

I am feeling so much better today than yesterday. I have been having to deal with a personal issue with some people and yesterday I closed that chapter on my life and have moved on. I woke up this morning feeling happy, energetic and truly just joyful. I was starting to get so pulled down by this person that it really started to affect my mood and the way I was treating people around me. Today was the start of a new chapter, a much better one than the one I just closed.

I listened to some really good Christian music today, that always lifts my spirit. Some of the words of the songs I was listening to today just hit on how I was feeling. I also did some reading in my Bible. There are so many verses that have spoken to me lately about what I have been dealing with. I especially love this one~

"The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." Psalm 34:18

Another one I like is~

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his pupose." Romans 8:28

And this next one is one that I memorized a while back, I really love what it has to say~

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 5:44

This one is good to~

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28

These verses have been a great source of inspiration to me over these past few months. Roger has also been such a great supporter and encourager. I don't know what I would do without him. He knows what I have been going through and today he could tell that something was different about me and I am so happy to finally feel like I am among the living again.

Today I was very happy with what I got done, I was in the process of getting our bedroom things changed. I did have a quilt on the bed but decided to put our leopard print things back in, I had bought some things for the wall above the headboard and since we just recently painted and put new carpet in (well now it's been almost a year ago-wow where does the time go??) I wanted to finally get everything up and on the walls. Well my wonderful beloved husband put the wall decor up last night about 11:30pm and he also helped me put the bedskirt on. So today I put the comforter back on and put the leopard print sheer curtains up and I just love how it looks. I have lived here for about 9 years and we have never had anything on the walls in our bedroom, it always looked so empty. I also got it all dusted and vacuumed and it almost looks like a different room.

Here are some pictures of what it looks like now and what the pictures look like~

This picture is of the headboard and the pictures above it, the long pictures on either side of the group have Bible verses on them, the one on the left has Gal.5:22 (The fruits of the spirit) and the one on the right has 1Cor. 13:4-8 (Love is.....) the two smaller prints also have verses on them the top one has Romans 5:3 and the bottom one has Matthew 7:7

The next picture is taken from the doorway looking into the room~

And this next one is of the sheer curtains but they were hard to get because of the window so I did the best I could~

This next one is looking from the other side of the room~

Our cat (Oreo) and our little dog (Molly) always go in our room for their daily ~morning, mid-morning, afternoon, mid-afternoon, early evening, later in the evening, naps. They for some reason like to lay on the pillows or behind them or just stretched out all across the bed. And then at night time Oreo likes to spend that in the window and Molly sleeps right in the middle of the bed, for a small doxie mix she spreads out like a Saint bernard when she is asleep there is hardly room for me and Roger. Anyway I just had to snap some pictures of what they do all day long.

Here is where Oreo found to be the best spot on the bed~

Molly started out on one of the pillows~

Then she migrated into the middle of the bed~(notice how her nose is past the edge of that leopard pillow and her behind is all the way over to the other pillow sham!!)

Isn't she just the cutest little dog?? She is our little princess~

I would love to take a close up shot of Oreo but he doesn't like his picture taken very much..

I also managed to get the entire house vacuumed and I got my list of Dailies done so that always makes me happy. Tonights dinner was real easy~ Tuna sandwhiches on homemade bread, chips and some real good pickles (not canned by me, just store pickles)

Roger is home now until Tuesday morning, no commuting on Friday or Monday (yahoo!) Today it took him almost 2 hours to get to work as there was a wreck and fire on the Altamont and he has to get over that to get to work. I am so happy when he doesn't have to commute. He still has to work(here at home) but he is home and I know he is safe.

Hope everyone enjoyed the pictures....

Wednesday Baking day...well sort of.

09:14, Wednesday, August 27, 2008 .. Posted in My country kitchen .. 5 comments .. Link

Today is usually baking day, but I woke up this morning not feeling well at all, so didn't get around to doing any kind of baking until after lunch time. Not much got made. Not much around the house got done either.I did manage to get the sheets taken off the bed, and the mattress pad and got those washed. I still need to put the pad back on and the clean sheets.

I made some Blueberry muffins and some apple spice bran muffins~

And one loaf of bread~

Here it is all nicely cut~

That was the extent of my baking not much is it? Oh I did also put some chicken in the oven for dinner and now the kitchen is back to looking like it should. I have the dishwasher going, and the rest of the dishes washed up and drying on the counter. My sink is clean

Kitchen after dinner clean up and baking~

Roger was home today which is something I always like. He is such a wonderful husband and he treats me like a Queen all the time

I am hoping to be more productive tomorrow. I want to finish up in the bedroom, I am changing my quilt out for our leopard print comforter so I need to get the curtains changed, the bedskirt (Roger will help with that) changed, the pillow shams and I also have some new things for the wall, when I get it all done I will come and post some pictures..

Have a blessed evening

Joann

My Tuesday!

06:38, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 .. Posted in Bits and pieces from Jo .. 1 comments .. Link

Today was Tuesday, and I think I had a very productive day. I got three loads of laundry done and when I brought in the blankets that I washed and dried and put them on the couch to go switch the other load to the dryer this is what I found~

Now I know she is a real cute little dog, but the reason for the washing of the blankets was so they didn't smell so doggy!!

She does have a cute little face though doesn't she??~

I even made a meatloaf for dinner with mashed potatoes, peas and cauliflower. No pictures of dinner, it was too yummy to wait for a picture to be taken. I plan on doing some baking tomorrow maybe I will post some pictures of that.

I am going to be postponing the Bible Study(Having a Mary heart in a Martha world) that I had planned on doing (starting the first of Sept.) but instead I will be posting my thoughts on The new book I got a while back Created to be his helpmeet. I have so far read about 3 chapters, but am just reading them and not stopping to do the study part at the end of each chapter. Well I don't know if you would call them Study parts just the end of the chapter where it says "Time to consider" I plan on going back after I have read it all through and then posting my thoughts on each chapter.

Tomorrow is a day for Roger to work from home and I do so enjoy him being home during the day. I miss him when he is gone for so many hours.

We celebrated my sisters birthday this weekend at a small mexican restaurant about a half hour from here on Saturday. She didn't say much about the bag I had made her but then I didn't really expect her to make a fuss over it or anything. I am the only one in my family that does any type of crafts or sewing and I like to make gifts rather than buy them.

A friend of mine had a baby girl the other day(18th), and then another friend of mine had a baby boy yesterday, I am so happy for both of them.

I am going to do some reading and watch a little TV with my beloved and then get to bed.

Blessings Joann

Master grocery list...

12:22, Wednesday, August 20, 2008 .. 3 comments .. Link

It's a little after midnight and I have just finished making my own Master grocery list. I have been using one that I had found online, but it listed many things that we don't buy and then things that we do buy weren't listed. So today I sat down and thought up everything I could that we buy at the grocery store. This is for food shopping only. I don't buy non food items at the grocery store. It took a while to get everything thougth up and typed up but I have a good first draft. I figure I will probably add to it here and there but for now it will have to do. Next week when I go shopping if there are items I forgot I am just going to write them on the list and then come home and add it to the saved copy on the computer.

Next task is going to be working on Menus....I am real bad at this so this will take a bit longer I think. I am also going through and re-doing my Home management Binder taking things out/putting things in..hopefully I will have made some progress by the beginnig of September! That is the deadline I have set for myself.

Roger and I went shoe shopping tonight for some new shoes for me! He is so nice to go with me, I ended up with two pair, I will post pictures of them tomorrow, I really like both pairs.

Here is a picture of the master grocery list (sorry if it is unreadable, it was hard to get a clear picture of it)

Birthday present I made for my sister..

10:30, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 .. Posted in Fruit of my hands, sewing .. 4 comments .. Link

I finally finsihed the present that I started this past weekend. I had bought the pattern about a year ago and never made anything from it. My sister is having a birhtday this month and I thought this would be the perfect time to make this bag. Now you need to remember that I am new to sewing and that not every seam matched.

I bought this fabric at Joann's on sale for $1.99 a yard~

Then I took that fabric and this pattern ~

And in the end I ended up with this~

This is what the inside looks like~

I actually like it quite a bit, I may have to make myself one, but of course in purple fabric

I have lots more crafty things to make but none of them are finished enough to share just yet.

Not a good way to start my week....

09:49, Monday, August 11, 2008 .. Posted in Bits and pieces from Jo .. 2 comments .. Link

Well today was Monday, I had a dentist appointment at 9:45, we got there at about 9:30 and I didn't get home until about 12:30. The dentist office is not one of my favorite places, so I wasn't having a good time. I had a root canal that started out just fine but then the dentist found out that the cavity went all the way to the end of the tip of the root...a long way...so it just took forever, also it wouldn't stop bleeding so she could put the temporary filling in and seal it...So after being there for so long, we stopped at the pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled and we came home. I was told to go home and put some ice on my cheek and just rest the rest of the day, which is what I did. It is now almost 10pm and it is still swollen real bad and has already begun to bruise a nice shade of blue. It is still very painful and guess what two weeks from today I get to go back!! And to top it all off it cost about $350 for our part, can't wait to pay for the rest including the crown...

I wasn't able to post on Amanda's blog (my mind is blank right now or I would post a link) for the marriage monday thing and am real dissapointed in that but I just don't feel good enough to go through my notes and put a post up on her blog.

I have also started a Bible study with some friends on the book "Having a Mary heart in a Martha world" I finished the first chapter and have some good notes on that too, but can't even deal with that right now. I plan on posting my thoughts on this book as I go through it, and also posting my thoughts about the book "Created to be his help meet"  I am really enjoying all of the books I am reading right now and would love to share with all of you what my thoughts are on them..So look forward to them in the coming weeks.

Roger was the wonderful Husband that he almost always is and went and got us something for dinner at Jack In the box, it was so good, but I could only chew real slowly.  I also got my usual chocolate milkshake on the way home from the dentist .  I am so spoiled by my husband it's almost criminal

Well I am headed to the couch to watch some Olympics with my beloved and taking it easy. Since today is normally grocery shopping day and I didn't get that done so tomorrow will be shopping unless my face still looks like it does right now

Blessings, Joann

New books that came in the mail...

12:42, Friday, August 8, 2008 .. Posted in Bits and pieces from Jo .. 4 comments .. Link

I got a very nice package yesterday in the mail. My books that I had ordered the other day arrived! I was so excited. The main book I was waiting for

Created to be his help meet

I have heard all kinds of good things about this book. I started reading it last night after dinner and already I am loving it. Right now I am just reading through kind of fast and then I plan on going back and re-reading it much slower. I have also been highlighting things that I want to remember for when I read it the next time.

This is one of the passages that I highlighted~

"When you honor you husband, you honor God. When you obey your husband, you obey God. The degree to which you reverence your husband is the degree to which you reverence your Creator. As we serve our husbands, we serve God. But in the same way, when you dishonor your husband you dishonor God."

And I loved this Bible verse they mention

"And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him...And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam... and he took one of his ribs...And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man" Genesis 2:18, 21-22

All of the books will be enjoyable to read. I bought one of the books for my sister for her birthday which is coming up this month.

This past week we took Molly to this park

It's a gigantic park and she loves to run around, though we can't take her long leash off because she would be off like a shot and we don't want her running into the road.

She enjoyed herself very much..

Here she is digging for bugs~

Now for some more serious writing.I was just the other day going to write a post about something that was really bothering me, it had to do with a friendship that was no more and before I went to write that post I stopped at my friends blog and she had a post that really spoke to my heart. I jotted down some of the things she said and they really made me stop and think.

Here are a few of the things that made me not write that post

she talked about ~

Real Biblical love is putting the other person above yourself- If I posted what I had planned I was going to be putting myself first.

Respond in love or react in flesh- reacting in Flesh is exactly what I was going to do

Are we seeking to have ourselves justified? Yes that is exactly what I was wanting Justification

Choose not to be offended- I was choosing to be offended, and I did have a choice

Believe the best- well obviously I wasn't believing the best of this person

And to remember "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

And I needed to remember the Fruits of the Spirit

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:against such there is no law."

My heart is still aching for this friendship that is not a friendship any more and I feel sometimes as though I am mourning, but I do remember that God works all things for good...

It's Monday again..

12:18, Monday, August 4, 2008 .. Posted in Menus .. 3 comments .. Link

What a nice weekend we had. Roger and I took a drive up towards the mountains to see where his family will be having their family reunion. Boy are we glad that we did, the directions given on the invitation were not very good. We ended up having to ask someone where the park was..It was about a two hour drive from our home and it was a real senic drive.  There is another road (a highway) that would get you there a lot faster but that is the same highway that my brother was killed by a drunk driver 6 years ago, so I try to avoid it as much as I can.

Sunday I spent reading and planning some lists for some fall cleaning. I am still working also on a list for the "It's all too much" book club I am doing. I figured between the two I should have a much better uncluttered, clean house!!

Today is grocery shopping day. I have already made my list and my menu, I did a pantry and freezer inventory last night and I am all ready for shopping. When I am done shopping I will be picking up a pizza for dinner.

This weeks menu~

Monday~Pizza

Tuesday~ Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie

Wednesday~ Hamburger helper, salad, veggie

Thursday~ Scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy

Friday~ BBQ chicken, deviled eggs, veggie

Saturday~Spaghetti, garlic breadsticks, veggie

Sunday~ crock pot pork chops, mashed potatoes, veggie

This week looks to be very busy, have lots I want to get done.

I pray that everyone has a nice week.

Blessings,Joann

My first post at my new blog address....

03:28, Thursday, July 31, 2008 .. Posted in WHO I AM... .. 3 comments .. Link

Hi to everyone who has come to my new blog address. I took a very short break  from blogging to do a lot of thinking and praying and Bible reading. I decided I wanted to have a new start and made a new blog page. I have had lots of people who came to the other blog who were upset about me posting things about the catholic religion and so on this new blog I do not plan on posting anything written by anyone else. The only things I am going to post here to do with the catholic religion will be those things that I have personally seen or done or heard while being raised a catholic for the first 20 years of my life. That way there can be no one who can accuse me of not having the facts straight they will be my facts!! My feelings on how I felt and things that went on in my youth, and young adulthood NO ONE can tell me HOW I CAN FEEL about my own feelings. They can try but I will delete any comments left here that I feel don't belong,  that is my right.  So that being said on to more pleasant things, at the other blog I don't know if I ever went into details of who I am so here it it......

WHO I AM~

My name is Joann, I live in Central California. When I was 17 I got pregnant with my daughter Jennifer, when I was 18 I married her father. We were married for almost 3 years when he though it was wrong of me to be upset that he wanted to have a girlfriend and a wife, so that was the end of marriage of #1. A little over 3 years later I met what I thought was a wonderful man, until 2 weeks after we were married I found out he was an alcoholic! He did not drink the entire time I was around him, but after we were married he drank every night. When I say he drank I mean he drank at least an 12 pack of beer if not more every night. I wanted to make that marriage work, we were married for 2 years when I found out I was pregnant, my son was born the next year. In 1991 we were divorced. I figured I was just not a good wife and that I was the reason these marriages didn't work. For then next 7 or 8 years I made my children a priority in my life. I  was looking  for answers to where was my life going. I found a wonderful Christian church in the small town we were living in at the time and totally involved myself there, the children were happy and so was I .  My family were not happy that I had left the church I grew up in but I made a decision that was right for me and my children. For all those years I really didn't think much of dating or marriage but  about 10 years ago or so I met a very caring man, he had never been married before and was a little hesitant since I had been married so many times, but we fell in love and this November we will be celebrating our 9th anniversary. I finally figured out that it wasn't me, I just wasn't with the man that God had intended for me to be with. Between the two of us we have 3 children~ I have Jennifer 27 years old and Matthew 18 years old, he has Wendy 29 years old. Jennifer has two children Dylan 4 and Kaitlyn 18 months and a husband named Chris, Wendy is married to Jeromy and has 3 children Jeromy 8, Lucas 5, and Trinity born last Dec. We are now empty nesters and are enjoying out time together.

Some interesting things about me~

I am a Bible believing Christian, I do not claim any religious denomination, the Church we attend is located in a warehouse downtown and has about 50 people in the congregation. Our Pastor wears shorts and sneakers and we love it there, he preaches the Word of God and he does it very well.

I try and keep my house nice but it is far from where I want it to be, I have very severe back pain that makes it impossible to work for long periods of time on things but I manage to work a little rest a little, and my beloved knows this and understands . I also have Carpal tunnel in my right hand that requires I wear a brace now and then which hinders me some but you know such is life you learn to work around the small inconvineinces.

I love to wear skirts and dresses but NO I am not dresses only, some people feel that they should only wear dresses and that is fine, I am not one of them. I like wearing them because it makes me feel more feminine and well I just like wearing them. Do I wear them all the time NO, I have jeans and t-shirts too..

After being married to an alcoholic I really can't stand the smell of beer but I will gladly drink a strawberry daquiri now and then and I don't see anything wrong in that. I do also like a good cold Jack Daniels and Coke once in a while.

Anybody that is reading this and is alredy judging me then please don't return to my blog, I am a very get to the point kind of person and I will not tiptoe on eggshells to make people happy . For those wanting to leave comments please do so, but be forewarned that I will delete any and all that I find offensive.

I would love anyone who is reading this to come back , I plan on sharing my daily life, sewing, crafting, pictures, my family, things going on around me and all kinds of exciting things...

I will be posting in the future about the book "It's all too much" by Peter Walsh, I am currently joining in a book club with a few friends to go through this book and get rid of all our un-needed things. I want to be able to open any drawer/closet/cabinet and not have to be ashamed when things come crashing down around me..

My Goals are to~

Make my home a place of comfort for my beloved to come home to after a long day at work~ I want my beloved to be able to come into our home and smell a wonderful smell instead of a stinky garbage smell, I want the table to be beautifully set and nothing on it that doesn't belong. I want the living room to not have things strewn all over where you have to move things to sit down. I want the bathrooms to be in good order and look/smell nice. I want the kitchen to be in good order also and look/smell nice...is this too much for my beloved who has worked 8 hours and commuted for 3 hours NO it is not, he deserves it..

Make wonderful delicious healthy meals for me and my beloved

Make all our bread/baking items from scratch~with the help of the breadmaker~

Make my time with the Lord in His Word more productive

Make/revise my home management binder

I am almost sure there are many many more things I could list either about me or about my life but for now this will have to do, wanted to get a new post put up on this blog...

Monday's chores

Monday's list of things to do....

Monday's are my day to make menus and grocery shop.

Before I can sit down and make out our menu and my shopping list I need to do a few things~

*Clean out refrigerator

*Inventory Panty

*Inventory Freezers (we have two, one with the refrigerator and one large upright one in the garage)

*Make a menu using as many things that are already in the pantry

*Make grocery shopping list

*Go grocery shopping ( I shop at Winco, which is the cheapest place around here)

*Put groceries away in Freezers/refrigerator~putting newest items in back

*Put groceries away in pantry~ almost all of our food items are stored in the pantry, the kitchen cupboards hold maily dishes, kitchen items. There is one cabinet above my mixer and bread machine that I put all my baking things in (flour, sugar, etc...)

*Buy pizza for dinner (this started being Monday night football/pizza night, but after shopping I don't usually feel like cooking so I just kept getting pizza and now it's every Monday night)

Besides the Monday activities I also need to do my daily to do list (see sidebar, under categories)

By the end of the day I am very tired, so that pizza is very welcoming...

Blessings to all and have a great start to your week..

Sunflowers, Bible, Key page in Bible

More sunflower things, New Bible study, Key page in my new Bible

Good evening everyone, I am praying that everyone out there had a nice blessed Sunday.  Yesterday after looking at my new curtains I wanted to go buy a few things to go with them and make the kitchen a little less roostery and more sunflowery....so I told Roger we need to go sunflower shopping, oh was he excited nothing a man loves more than going and looking for sunflower stuff for the kitchen.  Roger is a very wonderful husband and of course went with me, we had lots of fun looking at different things, of course I had much more fun than he did.  I really didn't buy that many sunflower things, but enough that it made a little difference in the look of the kitchen.  It now looks a little more summery and light, that's exactly what I was going for.  I only spent about $25 or so, figured it could have been worse, but really I just bought some stems of sunflowers and some new dishcloths, dish towels and some pot holders...

Here is a picture of what my shelf in the dining area looked like with the fall colored leaves on it~

And here it is after I cleaned the shelf and everything on it and put the sunflowers on it~

Here is a picture of the stove area where I hung the new potholders, you may notice too that my burner covers have both sunflowers and roosters on them~

Here is the sink area, I put some sunflowers in the basket in the garden window, and in the little vase next to the sink and hung up my new towels~

Here is what my canister set that I already had looks like, it already has sunflowers too~

After all of that sprucing up I decided it was time to break in my new Bible (hadn't written in it till now).  I got the idea for a Key page in my Bible from a fellow blogger. This way when I highlight something it will be easier to find..

Here is what it looked like after I had put all the information on the page~

Sunflower kitchen curtains

My kitchen curtains are done...

I worked on my kitchen curtains yesterday and finally finished them.  I have a Rooster theme in my kitchen/dining area and had some curtains that had roosters on it but the background was black and I thought it was a little too dark for summer time. I found some real pretty Debbie Mumm fabric on sale at Joann's about 2 weeks ago that had sunflowers and bees on it and a coordinating fabric with just the bees. The coloring was blue and yellow, perfect for summer time.  I plan on switching out a few of my more fall colored rooster things for some sunflower items and then it will look real nice.  I ironed and hung the curtains last night and I think they turned out real cute here are some pictures of them. I have 3 windows total, one is above the sink, one in the dining room area and one in the pantry.

Here is the kitchen window above the sink~

Here is the dining area window~

Here is the window in the pantry area~

Here is a close up of the fabric, I used the bee fabric for the top where the curtain rod goes and the bottom is the sunflower fabric~

I think I will head over to a few stores and see what kind of sunflower things I can find to go with the new curtains...

Have a great weekend everyone

Blessings, Joann

Please come in........

Welcome to the Allen home

I have finally got the time to post my tour of our home.  I had wanted to do it a while back and then never seemed to find the time to take all the pictures and get them on the computer..

So here we got, first this is the front door and the entry way... Come on in

When you come in the door if you turn to the left you will be in the kitchen, here are a few pics of the kitchen..

This is the side with the stove and refrigerator~

This next one is of the stove where I cook all the wonderful meals for myself and Roger

Here is a picture of the counter area next to the stove~

Next here is a picture of the other side of the kitchen where the sink is~

Here is a picture of the counter on the sink side looking back toward the doorway~

Here is a picture looking from the doorway all the way to the dining room which is at the end of the kitchen~

If you go straight instead of turning into the kitchen you will be in our hallway, a little jog to the left and that is the living room, here are some pictures of the living room...

This picture is of the south side of the living room~

This is another view of the same side of the living room, that door that is open leads to our backyard~

Here is our entertainment area- Yes we have a very large tv and we love it, we also have tons of movies and a great surround sound system so we have lots of movie nights! Sorry for the flash in the middle of the screen. On the right side of the TV is where I keep all of my books, as you can tell I am going through them right now so it's a mess~

Next picture is of the North wall of the living room~

In the next picture you will see what takes up half of my living room, yes it's an eliptical machine those pictures and shelf that are sitting behind it are to be hung up in the master bathroom but haven't made it in there yet!

If you turn right you will see our long hallway...

Going down the hallway their is a bathroom on the right....

My craft room is on the left, sorry no pictures of that though I had posted some of them before, basically just picture a real messy room!!

At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom, here are some picutres of it, notice the big empty space above the bed well I actually did find somethings to hang up there but haven't gotten them up yet...

Here is a picture looking into the master bedroom~

Here is our Master bathroom...

And the last room on the hallway on the left is Roger's office...

Well I certainly hope you enjoyed touring our home...

This past weekend Roger spent many hours taking down our screened in back patio and does it look nice and open now, I haven't gone out to take the after pictures yet but will in the next few days.  It was such a big job.

Here is a picture of one part of the walls he took down~

Here is a picture of the back patio area all of the walls are now gone, in this picture you can see where there was a wall at the left side, well now it's all open

Here is a picture of my hibiscuis blooming, the color is so pretty and it has about 4 more about to bloom..

I have a few sewing projects that I would like to work on in the next few months, some shorts and things for the grandkids, but I am usually very slow working on things, so don't be holding your breath to see any finished projects
