Happenings

Here are photos of things happening around our homestead this week.  No matter our circumstances, we can always find ways to be thankful...here are some of mine.....

Because of the price of wheat, it is definately cheaper to make your own....and nothing smells better than homemade bread baking in the oven.

Our dd made this delicious cake with her caregiver and decorated it  by herself....so nice she thought of us and wanted to share.

Finally getting the vineyard  up to standard after the long cold winter.... doesn't it look nice when things are pruned and the grass is cut....still working though on Round-up between each plant.....one acre down, three more to go.

Got some flowers and herbs planted....let's hope I do not kill the herbs this year

My boys.....what more is there to say

Beautiful pictures, Connie - my favorite flower is a Pansy, they always make me think that they are smiling when I see their "faces", lol.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog - hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day. =)

I love the pics! They are so beautiful! I baked hearth bread this week and it was gone the next day! ha ha! I guess I need to make more each week! Sounds like your a busy mom like me with a houseful! What a blessing! Your vineyard is absolutely beautiful! We have one two little vines--that's all. I never treat it or do anything with it, but this year perhaps if it gives grapes I will make jelly. The grapes never seemed to be that sweet. Any suggestions? I don't even know the kind or type!

Blessings!

Jill

I enjoyed those pictures of your children around the chocolate fountain! Who wouldn't love that?!
