This morning I go out on the deck and what do I find...Daniel in the tree and telling me he is keeping the birds from eating our cherries.

Then  Audrey and I headed out  for our Mammogram's today...

.....figure if I can't fight it, might as well laugh about it.  I do know however the seriousness and the blessing that we have in this country to be able to screen for breast cancer...so I do not take this lightly.... but with a grateful heart that we have the technology for these kinds of things. (thank you Audrey for the great cartoon).  It really wasn't that bad...but glad it's over and now I pray that everything is fine.

After our appointments we went to our favourite country store and then to Tim's for coffee...we had time to kill before picking up our raspberries.  You know what I will be doing all weekend.  But I don't mind because raspberries are my ultimate favourite fruit.

My niece and family came over for dinner this evening....I made a baked Spaghetti, salad and garlic bread...Grace brought an awesome carrot cake and of course we also had raspberries'n cream

You are right, dear! Mammograms aren't the most fun things, but they are a necessity and we are blessed that we have the screening process in our country! So, we could share the pain together, then go for coffee - doesn't get better than that does it? Had a very fun day!
