.....a quote that seems  fitting for me right now....my speed seems to be "first gear".....with a strong push to make it to second gear....but it never comes.  So instead of fighting it, I will quietly go along in first.

My day again, was very quiet...got my nails done...came home and did nothing...well, I did organize the living room and make dinner.  Actually,  Tianna made dinner I just turned the barbeque on...hard work trying not to blow myself up...those things scare me...but we survived and dinner was great.

The boys went to a pool party and Stephanie was to be off with her caregiver today, but caregiver forgot that it was Thursday...I would chalk it up to Menopause, but she's barely 30.    So Stephanie goes with her tomorrow...it will be a nice break for all of us and fun for Steph.

Spent the evening visiting with Karisa...so glad she and hubby are home safe and had such a great time.

how I can relate! I just take those slower times as God's answer for me.. the Scriptues do tell us that "You maketh me to lie down in green pastures." Our human "ness" tells us to be busy, or it won't get done. My mind can often race with that to do list that won't ever be a done list and then there is the ideas that I place upon myself of all I should be accomplishing YET... when I finally release it all I find true rest and enjoyment and have time to notice all the little things that bring me so much Joy that I would have missed. Thanks for the reminder to REST in the Season He has me at the moment... for this too shall pass. With love, Mrs. Joseph Wood
