4-H and Homeschooling, Perfect together!!! (Plus more free stuff!)

Posted in Homeschooling

Whether you have the opportunity to belong to a local 4-H group or not, you can also incorporate their curriculum into your schooling.  Check it out online:

http://www.4-hcurriculum.org/projectsonline.aspx

There is all sorts of curriculum for free from aerospace to goats!

The more involved we get with 4-H the more I love!  It is more than animals, also!  This is a hard one for people to realize!

In addition, I just received my weekly Homeschool Minute Newsletter - if you don't get it, you should!  http://www.thehomeschoolmagazine.com/ Go to the website and a pop up will lead you to sign up for the FREE newsletter.

Some websites to check out this week:

Wednesday, April 16, 2008 - 4-H

Posted by borderling
We've been involved in 4-H for 18 years now! Wow, how time flies. Our 4-H Federation had to order all new publications two years ago and made all the old ones available to the members at no charge! We picked up books and workbooks on sewing, woodworking, electricity, animal sciences, computers, photography and more. Great resources.

About Me

After searching the world for the answers, I am learning to slow down and trust God. Life can be so simple if we just trust Him. I am a Chistian wife married to the man of my dreams. I have 3 children and live on 3 acres. We are not quite homesteaders but we love learning! I see God's kisses everywhere and hear His laughter roll through the air. Come along as we live life one day at a time.
