Love and Prayers for Marilyn

As most of you I was quite taken by shock that Marilyn's Dear Husband had passed on.
I wish to exspress my sincere love and hugs and prayers for her and her family during this
time of change in their own lives.  The Lord be with you, make his face to shine upon you and
give you peace and comfort today and in the days to come.   I will as you said never take a day for
granted. My own DH has a blood disorder ITP, He is mentally ill and has Asthma and an enlarged left ventrical wall of his heart.  I  am not sure what I would do without him arround.  He is in college right now and it is hard to
not have him here physically , it is another one of those changes we are going through.  He is having a hard time
of it as the reading is hard on his eyes, even with new glasses.  So , I try to help where I can and will never assume that tomorrow he will be here with me.

Reminds me of a country song, " If tomorrow never comes"  I surely know that Mark loves me, I just need to focus on that during the harder times of life and Let the Lord handle the rest.

Love to you Marilyn

Changes

Well as of this weekend coming up, my Oldest Daughter, Two Granddaughters and my two oldest sons, will be moving to NH to live with or near their dads.  This for the first time in 7 years leaves Mark and I with  only our own children at home.  This is a good thing given the issues we were having with the boys.  I also learned that my daughter in NH is exspecting a baby in Sept.
My children are Amanda 25, Brittany 21, Wesley 18, Michael 15 who will be in NH now.
At Home are Faith 6 in Aug, Hope 5 in Oct and Daniel who is now just over 2 months old.
(who is wearing 6-9 months size clothing already, he is a big baby boy !)
Does anyone have any clothing in Daniels size or larger sizes ? I could use sleepers and Onsies and outfits. Also a spring/summer jacket.  Anything would be a blessing.
I am asking due to our income household wise going down by 1200.00 a month with no child support coming in for the boys.
I am still waiting on Angelina to kid, she is the only one left to kid still.  I have sold several of my goats
Melani with a buck kid, Cowkid, Francis and Judah have all been sold.  Daniel buck goat is also sold to a lady in PA.  I have still here on our homestead Magnolia with two of her kids Levi a buck and Manessah a doe.  Lucien Breeder buck and his buckling son Rueben.  Joyful Spirit came back to live with us as she was malnurished and in need of individual attention and feedings, she is getting better daily. Well Angelina
will kid soon  and we are praying for does.  In a month I was able to bring in 600.00 by selling goats, another 100 when Daniel is picked up. So bills got paid and food purchased for us in the coming week or so.
I am saving eggs for a friend who lets teachers at the public school hatch them and then she will bring me back the buff chicks to raise for egg layers, this will work out quite nicely for me.
Prayers appreciated.
Love and Blessings
Linda

Home and Feeling Blessed !

Unfortunately right now I have not got time to write out Daniels birth story, but I wanted everyone to know that we are here at home. They allowed us to come home before 48 hours old and although we were not home in time for Manolias kidding she has a lovely set of triplets she is raising up.  She had 2 bucks and 1 doeling.  I will try to post pictures of Daniel and of the triplets soon , Lordwilling.  Daniel was born 1/30/08 at 8:21 pm. He weights 9 lbs 4 ozs and is 21 1/2 inches long. His head circumference is 14 3/4 inches and his chest is 14 inches.  He is a very allert baby when not sleeping loves to look arround and see everything.  He has dark brown hair and dark blue eyes.  I want to thank each of you who prayed for us.
I went in to the hospital at 2am and was admitted at 3:08 am, it was a longer labor then I anticipated but it was a more natural one for us. I did have an epidural but not untill I was almost 7 cm dialated.  This was due to anestiologist being tied up down in the OR till that time.  I had my DH Mark and my wonderful MIdwife there with me and some really great nurses as well took fine care of us while we were there.   I want to thank My dear friend Toni Pavo here, who came at  a phone call to my home, to help Magnolia with kidding. My son Wesley was here for the first two buck kids being born, but Toni arrive in time to pull a breach birthed doeling who was the last to be born.  Magnolia and her kids are doing fine.
Daniel and I are doing fine also, other then my being a bit tired right now.

2 cm dialated , cervix is thinning out, but I am at home again...Sigh

Well I am doing better this time, I am only 2 days late thus far and already at 2cm, beats a week late and still not getting much of anywhere. Least now she says I can have my water broke  and do on from there when I am ready.
Dr Druff the OB Dr in the office doesnt like to induce less your 41 weeks along...figures a Dr gets to choose what you and your midwife do.  So I will be patient and wait it out.  I am tired and in need of a nap.

Please pray the goats will kid today or tonight and that perhaps I will go tomorrow after Mark gets back from college arround lunch time.   Both of my does are all bagged up and complaining with being heavy with kids.  Its time for everyone to have their blessings here !!!

Prayer Changes Things and I can tell the Lord has heard your prayers on my behalf as I am doing very good midwife says.

Update This Morning

Well I spent lastnight with contractions every 10 mins and then thought maybe my water broke a slight bit. (smells sweet )  Nothing more since then other then back ache to some extent and contractions.  Anyhoo, this morning I had a slight pink/tan tinge and am feeling rather tired. I suffered a miserable headache all yesterday afternoon and lastnight. Only time it seemed to go away some was after I had that small amount of fluid leak .  This morning no reg contractions but some rear pressure and feeling tired, so here I am taking it easy till I have to leave to go see the midwife at the office.  Well I guess this morning I will see Emily to get checked and if midwife is needed she will be called, she was up all night bless her soul with another lady in labor.   Emily is PA-C Physicians Assistant (something). not sure what that C is for but she is nice and is good at what she does.  She was checking me after the OB lady Dr I had moved out of state, till the midwife came to work at their office.  In a while we will get the girls up and get ready to leave for my appt.

Keep us in your prayers that I am farther dialated and able to  go have daniel soon.   I am feeling better headache wise, took something for it and its mostly gone.  I did eat 2 eggs and toast this morning, Mark cooked for me as I was feeling so tired, even a bit dizzy at times.  Shhh , don't let Mark or my boys hear that or they will say it is a blonde thing, not that my hair is any longer blonde mind ya, its light brown but I use to color it years ago...  You know some men anything that will get a rise out of ya and make them laugh a bit.

Appt tomjorrow with midwife at 10:45am / Does Bagged up and readying for kidding.

Well tomorrow is my next appt with the midwife and we will see if I am any farther dialated and if we can have Daniel this week , she says we'll make a plan and try not to go too much further over. Tomorrow I am 2 days later then when I was due to have Daniel.  Prayers appreciated on my behalf that I would be farther dialated and able to have the baby.  I am tired moreso lately, so I would look forward to having him and getting to care for him and relax more.  Somehow we seem to have caught another virus , cold intestinal thing, not as bad as lasttime though, seems to have a sore throat with it.

Well my Does are bagged up too and I am not sure what is taking them so long to kid, they were due this week also for the most part.  I am glad to finally see them both bagged up udder wise.  I am praying they will kid tonight so that I dont have to worry about them kidding this week if I am in the hospital.

Well I am off to bed. I did have my oldest daughter and two granddaughters here for a day and a half so that was nice to see them and get to spend time with them, it is too bad I was so tired.  Today I also updated Marks computer with windows XP that I bought years ago, he needed this to do online classes for college. I worked on that and other things on his computer for him all morning, so I was busy.

I did make a lap blanket for my midwife that is pink with pink roses and breast cancer ribbons on it, seemed womanly appropriate and lovely gift to give her for being there with me, she is such a sweet lady and she is so good with my girls too.

God Bless each of you this night and thank you for your prayers and love to me.

At Home Still, still only 1cm dialated... Prayer for things to progress more

Dear Sweet Sisters,

I am back at home as I am still only 1cm dialated.  Midwife says she will see me tuesday morning and lordwilling my own body will work to bring us to the point of being able to have Daniel without using meds to dialate me further. She says my cervix is soft but still very long.  So today I went to Walmart on the way home and was blessed to be able to get a rocking chair, glider type one that is very nice , as a sister blessed me with a gift card to use for the baby and since i had no rocker to rock Daniel in I asked her if she thought it ok to use it for that purpose and she was tickled to know that I would use the card for that and be thinking of what a blessing she was to us while I used it daily.  So tonight there is a glider rocker in my bedroom, Mark put it together and my son Michael made me a little table for next to it.  I am so thankful for the blessings sent our way to provide for Daniel and my own comfort.  The Lord does surely provide, even if we do not know how he will do it and when.  Just this week alone I was told that there are three boxes of things being sent to us for Daniel from other families who felt led to bless us.  The outpouring of love to us has been so great and the Lord knows each thing needed for Daniel and I.  Today I also used my own money to get a bathrobe finally, found one while getting the rocker that matches one of my nightgowns, so now I have a robe to wear in the hospital. PTL.

Well I came home, surprized my 18 year old son by showing up and I ate something and set right to work making two twin sized fleece blankets for my girls beds. They are 60 x 72 inches and light pink on one side and pink and white check on the other side. You take the two pieces and line them up  and then cut a square from each corner and then cut fringe along all sides and tie them in knots all arround. So simple yet so wonderfully heavy and nice to have over them tonight as it is cold here 20's.  Their room is heated, but I worry about them being warm enough in this old farmhouse of ours.  We heat with propane and even on the budget plan it is 285.00 per month for 10 months.
The budget plan this year has allowed me to stay paid up and not have to apply for emergency HEAP and for this I am thankful, even when it is so costly.  I am not sure if I had posted it but day before yesterday I had made a crib sized fleece blanket for Daniel, but smaller then the girls blankets.  I had to buy the checked fleece at 7.49 per yard but the pink was 6.49 per yard and for Daniels I already had the blue that I got from Walmarts on clearance a few years ago for 1.00 per yard at the end of wintertime sale.   So finally I have a chance to use up my fleece to bless my little ones.
It cost me 25.00 for making one twin sized blanket and 2 1/2 hours of my time to make it.  I have seen them sell for twice that at markets and fairs.  My son says I should take it up as a sideline hobbie and sell them.  Time will tell if I add this to my website as a item for sale.

So tonight Myself, My Son Wesley; My son Michael and my daughters sat arround our diningroom table and I made blankets, Wesley worked on his homemade banjo, Michael worked on my small table and the girls sat chatting , while Mark worked on his college courses online and in his books.

Its been a long day , so as soon as I get a chance to look for personal emails , I am off to bed.
Prayers are so much appreciated and such a blessing and I am thankful to each one of you who
lifts us up before the Lord.

Love
Linda

Prayer Request and thank you to everyone

I wanted to come and ask for prayer as I need rest tonight big time.  Tomorrow my Chiropractor appt is at 11:45am and then my Midwife appt is at 1pm.  She had said if I was dialated enough perhaps we would be induced to have Daniel.
I am pretty sure I am 2cm or more dialated as I was with the girls when induced, only thing was I was a week late with them and they were big girls for sure.  Prayer for my rest and easy productive labor that is quicker then with the girls would be appreciated.  I wanted to come and thank each of you who has blessed us in allowing the Lord to use you in provision for Daniels Birth and coming home with us.  I cannot thank you enough in words to tell you how grateful I am to each of you who has sent things our way to help us.  I feel so blessed and my heart is full and knowing that I have sisters and families here on homestead who love us in the Lord has been such a blessing.  I cannot wait till I can post pictures of Daniel for you all to see Him.  I know he is a healthy baby as he is even today so active inside me and I can hardly wait to see him.

Prayer for my goat does also, Magnolia and Cowkid still have not kidded yet and I so hoped to be home when they did. I am praying that even if I do have Daniel tomorrow that the goats will wait till we are home to kid, so I can be here and if that is not the Lord's will I am praying that all goes well and my friend Toni will be called by my boys to come and help out if anything is wrong.  Lordwiling all will be ok and all kids born healthy and well.

Well I am heading to bed soon as I am really tired, If anyone wants me to call them when Daniel is born, you can feel free to private message me with your number and I will get to each of you as I am able, I will be posting here when I come home after having him and filling you all in on his arrival and all the details.

Love and Blessings

Still here at home waiting

I am still right here, not having reg contractions at all yet.  Once in a while yes, but
my body I think is cleaning itself out to get ready.  Today I made chicken and biscuits
for supper and I got laundry done up still, 2 loads today.  all done and folded. Mark took my car
and started his classes today at CCC.  Not sure what the Lord has planned in all this  area of
college but it will be a miracle if he stays with it and finishes his AS , much less a Bach or Mast. Degree
as he has isses finishing anything he starts with the mental illness and such.  But time will tell.
They did get his Pell Grant done and that should be available soon to pay for Gas and books.
Since he has his GED they are making him take alot of what I call Highschool classes, which really
seems like such a waste of time.  Surely they have nothing to do with Human Services and
what he will do.  All it did mean was his having to be at college 3 days per week all morning , Yes even
including this week when I am due to have Daniel.  I guess it shows what is important to some folks and
what is not as important to others.  I would appreciate prayers for Labor and Delivery of Daniel, I am waiting
to see if I go on friday to the chiropractor then to the midwife or if I will go before then.

I am feeling like I am dealing with alot of things I shouldnt have to lately.
Prayer for Michael, he is fighting going to school and giving me troubles again.
Prayer for Mark to see what is important , other then a worldly education, that only means a job maybe in 2 years that is better supposidly.
Prayer for Wesleys diabetes to get under control
Prayer for my Girls to be cared for while I am in hospital. Wes does a good job most the time when he has them.
Prayer for me to be able to rest, unlike today I got no nap, this whole pregnancy I have had two short ones.
Prayer for my oldest Amanda to do things safely and be careful if she goes to AL to get her things with the girls.
Prayer for Brittany and Issac , as I know not how they are really.

Well there are alot of things on my heart, but those are the main ones.

Blessings
Linda

Yesterday's Events

I wanted to come and let everyone know what I was up to yesterday.  My friend Maryanne came to visit and bring me some of her shirts and sweaters which was a blessing.  While here I had her check the goats to see how ready they may be to kid. She says that Cowkid has lost her ligaments and is very ready and Magnolia while soft still has some of hers there , so here I am waiting for one or both of them to decide to kid.  If I end up in the hospital to have Daniel before they kid, my friend Toni says she will come to help out with kidding if anyone has troubles, so this is a good thing. Thanks Toni and Maryanne.

I decided yesterday to give my red rooster and my 4 red hens to Maryanne and boy did I get a surprize... My Buff rooster who is usually the friendly one turned his rooster instincts on and tried to come after me while I was getting the hens out for Maryanne.  Well least I know he will do his job now and not only breed my hens so we get chicks this spring but he will guard the hens now as if they are his girls only which is a good thing.  We are getting 5 to 6 eggs per day, so I am pleased with what I have and I will be so totally happy when the hens or I incubate the eggs they lay this spring and get chicks that are only Buffs.

Oh I did work on cleaning and laundry yesterday , found  the floor in the laundry room and I am so happy to have that all done and caught up.  Today I will work on a blanket of fleece for Daniel and do more organizing in my bedroom and sewingroom too.  Just here waiting to go into labor ...  Next Midwife appt is friday at 1pm and I will go to chiropractor first to get aligned , this way if I am induced I am ready to go.

Blessings to each of you
Linda

Prayer for Magnolia

Well it would seem tonight that my doe Magnolia is going to grunt her way into kidding sometime soon, she sure is making alot more noise out there, Mark says she is ok, but I know these sounds. Perhaps the Lord will allow her to kid
before I have Daniel and I am praying to for Cowkid to kid her kids before I go to the hospital also.  Prayers appreciated f.or my two does who are due anytime.
ok s
Linda, who is sitting here with Braxton Hicks contractions herself.

Checking in after midwife appt today

Well I am 1cm dialated and midwife says come back next friday, this will be 2 days before my due date. If I am dialated enough she says she will have me be induced as she doesnt want me to have another huge baby. This is ok with me as I do not care to go over again like with the girls.    She did say  that Daniel is down farther this time then he was last week so that is a good sign.  I am feeling better today, no nausea or back door trots, so this is a good thing. I was able to start eating lastnight for supper and ate good today too. Thank you for your prayers for my healing.

39 weeks one more to go ! Prayer Request

I have one  more week to go till Daniels due date of Jan 27th.  I seem to have some stomac / intestinal virus and
it kept me awake all night lastnight pretty much.  I seem to have shaken the lung congestion for the most part from
the last virus we had go through here.  Prayers appreciated greatly for my healing before Daniel is born. I really do not
want him to be sick right off the bat.

I would appreciate any emails, real mail or whatever this last week as i patiently wait for labor to begin.

Dropping in to say Hi !!!

I wanted to stop in and say Hi today to everyone, I cannot tell you how excited and impatient I am to
have Daniel and I am just waiting for it to be time to have him.  Labor in the past 6 years has had to
be induced as I am late it seems always and need to have babies before they get to big inside me.
Faith was 8 lbs 15 1/2 ozs and a week overdue. Hope was 9 lbs 8 1/2 ozs at a week overdue.  So
I am praying that I will go ontime or be induced on time.  most pregnancies I have walked arround 2 cm
dialated for that last week till induced. This time I am or was already 1 1/2 cm dialated as of last friday.
I am so grateful for your prayers on our behalf and cannot wait to come report to you Daniels birth when
it has finally happened.  My mother in law keeps calling daily to see if I am there yet...smile  She is excited
about this little guy coming to as he is the first Finn Grandson to carry on the Finn Family Name.
I keep cleaning and organizing here and getting things ready for our special day of coming home
with Daniel in our arms.

May the Lord bless each of you who have shown us the Love of the Lord.

In Him

Winter Weather in NY and How the girls are doing.

Well this is surely a strange January weather wise.  There is no snow here and its 44 today.  We cleaned the yard and checked in on my Hens.  They are giving us 5 to 6 eggs a day now, for this I am glad as 4 today went into a nice
awesome batch of brownies for desert tonight.  I made a huge batch of beef stew for supper also.  I am still waiting for my does to kid, they  are bagging up udder wise but no kids as of yet.  I can hardly wait to see the kids this year and I can hardly wait to see the chicks my Hens hatch out this spring and summer.

Meanwhile, I am waiting on my time to have Daniel and the Lord's timing is totally perfect...

38 weeks, 2 more to go !!!

Well, here I am with 2 weeks to go till Daniels due date. I wanted to come update everyone and let you know that I am 1 1/2 cm diliated and he is still carrying high, but the midwife says he may not come down till I am in labor...so I am waiting patiently.  She says she will try not to let me go over my due date as to not let him get too big in there.  Tonight I am tired big time. She put me on antibiotics for my lungs as the congestion has been there for over two weeks. I am allergic to so many antibiotics, it is sorta scarey for me to have to take anything.  I also have a cream as I have gotten a fungus infection behind my knees. Anyone know any natural remedies for fungus issues ?    and also for getting rid of lung congestion ?

I am here and waiting, trying to keep up with things, prayers appreciated greatly.

My girls are laying again !!!

Well this past fall I cut back on how many Hens and Roosters I kept over the winter.  I wasn't getting any eggs for some time, but then we started getting one a day.  Well Yesterday the girls decided to start laying 3 to 6 eggs per day, so this is a good thing.  With the nice weather we can clean the coop and get them in full swing. Its been nearing 60 here the last two days.  I ended up keeping 8 Buff Hens and a Buff Rooster ( Golden Boy ) and 4 Red Hens and a Red Rooster ( Red ).
Well I am glad to see them getting back to laying again.

It is what I call a mild winter here in New York, some might not think that but when the snow is gone Mid January and the Geese have never left to go south, well it has to be a mild winter here.

Lets just say that who would have thought that tonight January 7th, I BQ'd sirlion steak on the Gas Grill and my sons 14 and 18 were out back roasting marshmellows over a wood fire in the yard. And we did all this in T-shirts...Its been a nice
day here and tomorrow it is to be 63 degrees.

Yes the cold will return and so will the snow, but this too shall pass.... Right now I am just thankful for the good weather and a lower heating bill.

Blessings

37 weeks along , 3 weeks to go. Update on things....

I gained some weight this time, not sure as to how much as I was wearing my coat and boots.  Midwife say 12 lbs this pregnancy so far.  She says I am measuring good for how far along.   Daniel is growing well.  I would ask for prayers as I  am suffering a virus with alot of chest congestion and coughing, she says if I get a fever I will need antibiotics, I am allergic to so many that isnt a good thing for me to hear.

I spent 3 hours today in ER with my 18 year old son after my appt , he is diabetic and needed to be on IV fluids, 2 bags worth.  10 units of R insulin and anti nausea meds. He is home and lordwilling will get well soon , he also has this virus as do most the family.

36 weeks and I am 50% effaced and not dialated yet

Well that is the news this week.... I also lost 3 lbs and the midwife seems ok with that since I am measuring 36 weeks and Daniel is very active. She did say that since my cervix is very soft I could go at anytime my body decides
to dialate and the Lord decides daniel is to be born... I have been very tired and trying to get things ready and done for him.  Prayers much appreciated as I am having alot of siatic pain in my hips and back  and it is making it hard to sleep at night.  The acid reflux is not so great but I am trying to be a good trooper and hang in there.

Season's Greetings ...

You know there are many things I love.... One is snow, although I hate the cold and I hate ice. (comes from falling too many times and getting hurt.  ) I love winter, the snow is a constant reminder to me of how the Lord's blood was shed to cleanse us from sin.  Though your sin's be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.....  It reminds me of peace, love and all that is good and the Lord surely wants us to think on whatsoever things are Pure, Lovely and of Good Report.

Although we do not do " Christmas " like everyone else, there are things I enjoy  seeing  and doing.
I have a pinecone garland that is on scarlet cord and I love to hang this up for the winter season, its one of those
homey things to me. I love white or clear lights , they remind me of the light that Jesus sheds on us and
the darkness that he dispells from this world.   We do not put up a tree or decorate as others do, nor do we
believe that we should give gifts on just one day of the year.   How much more wonderful it is to give to others
and be a blessing to them.  I surely have been blessed by many friends here and on the internet in the past and not so distant past and I am thankful for each one that has blessed me and thankful for them listening to the leadings of the Lord in so doing.

This Season of winter, I want to send to you Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ, may His Love, Mercy and Grace be shed upon you, your families and your homesteads and farms. May they be blessed with bounty and may you know the Lord as your personal savior and friend.  May you know him as the giver of all that is good and right in your lives.

At 43 years old and due to give birth to our Son Daniel in just 6 short weeks, I am feeling abundantly blessed.
It surely makes the loss of 3 babies to miscarriage seem in the past and lets me know that he is ever with me.

In the Lord Jesus
Love
Linda

Any ideas on getting chickens to lay ?

Well quite a few of the hens I have I raised from chicks this summer.  I was getting 4 eggs a day at one point and
now I am getting no eggs ....  It is getting colder here and darker longer but these are new hens for the most part
and some are their mother hens.  I have 15 hens out there and over half are new this year.  Does anyone know
what could be happening ?  Anyone have any ideas on getting them to lay before winter comes this year ? Or am I
do to not have eggs to spring ?

Waiting on my Ladies

This year is sorta nice as I raised our own chicks and we have 15 Hens and 2 Roosters out there. Most are a Buff Orpington or cross of them, all golden Buff colored and they are starting to lay for me . I traded my friend Maryanne
my other hens and roosters for more golden Hens and a golden rooster. I also have one red rooster and 4 red hens.
I am getting one egg per day and waiting on my ladies to start producing for us here.  I feel so blessed as each one
begins  to give us eggs to use that are fresh and good for us.

Our Life at Home

You know as of late we have been thinking of moving....To find a place with a little more land to raise our own foods, to hunt and to enjoy the good land that God created...   I guess I feel more peace knowing that Grace never suffered, but went to a place with more peace and rest then I can fathum here on this earth or in my lifetime.  Today I seperated out the roosters that we will not be keeping and if no one comes to get them as breeders, then Michael will be butchering them really soon.  I just couldn't keep them in with the two roosters and 16 Hens, as they start fighting more as they age.  One that I recieved from a Mennonite lady my mom works with , we call him Butch, he is very agressive toward the others and I believe he is older then my others.  He thought he ruled the roost untill today when he was put in another pen with the other roosters and no hens.  At least now he cannot intimidate my Golden Rooster and now the Golden Rooster and my Red Rooster are the Kings and the Golden one is pretty much more protective today of the Hens.  It was sorta funny to see him fly up and get on Michaels shoulders and ride arround on him while Michael was catching the others and putting them into the next pen, although Michael didn't think it was fun to have him chase him during this time as well. But I think the Golden (Buff ) Rooster thought he was bothering the Hens.  He is a lovely Bird...
I decided to let my doe goat " Joyful Spirit " go to live at a friends as a Pet, she has not taken in the last three breedings and it just doesn't pay to keep goats here who do not produce young or milk to use on our Homestead.  She is a sweet doe and will make a nice addition to my friend Maryanne's place.  She already has goats, sheep and a mini donkey and chickens herself.  She is  a single mom of 8 children, all from sorted pasts and the older boys give her such a run for her money so to say.  She lives on a 10 acre homestead in Minoa NY, where she raises the children Ages 15 down to 18 months currently.  She has adopted all of them and loves them greatly.  They all have some form of disability or illness.  I tell her all the time how I dont know how she does it.   She recently blessed me with clothing for the girls and for my neices and my grandson. She is a unique lady for sure and a special friend.
So your saying " Linda, what were you saying about thinking about moving ? "  Well for years we have had friends who talked of moving to TN and they have and love it there.  Mark was never ready to move south, but wanted to move to a warmer place, but with not alot of humidity... Perhaps things have changed with time as now he says he wouldnt mind living in TN.  So does anyone live in the Linden area ?  This is where we were looking online for a homestead.   We are looking for a farmette or residential Country Home.  3 plus bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms.  2 plus acres of land and would prefer barns already there.  A workshop and a barn for animals.   Pasture land and woods.
More land would be better but we are not going to be greedy and will see what the Lord provides for us. Price range of 50 to 90K would be acceptable. We would like to pay less of course but are seeing that we would get more for our money there and that the cost of living is less.  We intend to live a simple life, raising our own food and we also would like to have a VA outpatient clinic and hospital within and hour from the house for Mark's medical care.  I personally am not fussy about healthcare as I see my midwife more then the Dr here.  The children are rarely sick and seldom see a Dr also.   So a midwife would be in order as well as a pediatrican for when one is needed.  Land that is flat, but has rolling hills or larger hills arround us would be great.
I have my oldest daughter in AL , so moving down that way within a few hours of her would be wonderful.  But also being near our friends would be a good thing.  Well that is where we have been at the last few days. We would anticipate moving sometime next year if the Lord is willing.

Blessings to All

Angel

Angel
We are looking for a new home for our dog Angel. She is 4 years old, spayed and up to date on all her shots.
She is Austrailian Shepard/ Mini Collie Cross and has a naturally docked tail.  She needs to be on heartworm
year round as she needs this to keep from getting heartworm that would harm her health. She is great with children, my own children are 4 to 18.  We can no longer keep Angel due to not being able to afford her Meds and our current financial
situation.  Angel was raised with other dogs, but she chased a pitbull out of our yard. She gets along fine with our male cat Jerimiah.  She is playful, loving and does not bark alot. She will bark at cars that pull in our driveway if hooked outside.
We will miss her alot she was a rescue I got over a year ago, She had been allowed to run loose and have a litter of pups by her own sire. She is a little scared of thunder and lightning storms, prefering to sleep with or near family(on the floor) by the bed or in the hallway.
if anyone is interested in her, please email me .
See Pics in Photo Album
thank you
