Don't want to jinx it but looks like the weather might be looking up around here. By Sunday we are to be in the 60's which is going to be good. My husband wants to finish fixing his truck, he's put it off because it was too cold. His hands would get cold without gloves and with them he couldn't work as easily. Hoping to get the chicken coop stuff finished as well as the pig shed. So both can get outside to some fresh air and more room. Today I am hoping to buy 6 more baby chickens, if they have some left of the kinds we want. If not I'll have to rethink what ones to get.....lol. I need to head out and get the other stock tank not in use to put in the lean, so the chickens can have more room and the ducks and geese as well. They will each have a stock tank to run around in. The baby chicks are 3 weeks old now, their feathers are coming in nicely and they've been jumping and flapping those wings for at least a week.....lol. Our chickens have started giving less eggs, no idea why. Not sure if they are taking a break or if the baby chicks are interfearing....lol.
