Boy I tell you I love having chickens but we go through streaks of eating eggs. Last night I counted and I'd had 7 dozen eggs in the fridge and my husband had just on Sunday sent 2 dozen home with one of his brothers.

So last night was eggs for supper....lol. I managed to make up a dozen between the 3 of us.

This am my son had an omlet for breakfast. And I just hard boiled a dozen and a half. As my husband mentioned egg salad sandwiches, and might make deviled eggs as well. So I've got less in the fridge now. Its not so overwhelming....lol.

Hopefully I can get some egg cartons ordered then start selling the eggs so at least we don't have so many. My husband wants to just give them away and that's fine but a little money would help to maintain things better.

I think selling your eggs when you have an abundance is a great idea. My chickens are not yet laying as many as we get through, but when they do, I hope to sell some. Free Range chicken eggs are loved by most so put the word out, I bet you will get a bite! :D
