Our chicks are doing well., we ended up having to find a smaller container for them as what we had intended was too large for just 5 chicks.......lol.

So we did that and they are just so cute, as you can see from my last entry with photos. Which BTW was hard to photograph. Little buggers kept moving. Kinda like trying to photograph active babies.

The only issue I'm having is the feed we got for them, wasn't what I had thought I was getting the feed store, we asked for Chick starter/grower and I got Meat Maker. Now the bag says its for 0-8weeks but I don't want it to harm them, for any layers. I should have at least 2 layers since the Americana's were pullets. The other 3 were out of a straight run so we get to wait and see if they are females or males.......LOL.

So if anyone knows about the feed and if it will be alright until this weekned where I can get the stuff I had thought I was getting. Please let me know.
