My chickens have suddenly decided to put their eggs on the floor of the lean where they are being kept at this time....lol.

My mom called me, she lives across the yard for those that don't know that my parents and my family live in the same farm yard. Anywho, she called to tell me we got 5 eggs but they weren't in the boxes my husband built for them, they were in a hole area they dug up on the lean floor in a corner. And she wouldn't have known it except she was changing food and water and saw them that way.

There was 6 actually but one was pecked at by another bird I'm assuming. No idea why they decided to do this, as they've been laying them in the boxes, and they have 12 boxes to choose from....lol.

I just went out there though and one was sitting in a box, so there will be at least one egg in a box today .....lol.

these are 9 of the 10. And of course isn't the greatest one....lol. The one down on the bottom by the black one. She's mostly black & white, she's a very mean chicken....lol. Please excuse the mess in there, I was in a rush to get a photo to find out what kind of chickens I had so its not the cleanest at that time.
