My first grocery shopping trip for Feb 2008

I didn't keep up with January's Grocery Shopping like I should have but today is a new month and so I get to start over and hopefully I will do better with keeping track.

The groceries listed below aren't for the entire month but its a start.

In addition to my CVS trip yesterday I also went to Martin's to get some things on sale that I had coupons for.

So here is what I got:

22 ct trash bags *
2 bars fels napa soap
1 box washing soda
2 boxes Honey Combs Cereal *
1 Maxwell House Coffee *
4 kitchen sponges *
1 loaf bread *
1.71 lbs Bananas
2 bags Salad Greens
10 lbs potatoes - they were  5lbs BOGOF
1 package chicken
2 lbs bacon *
1 lb breakfast sausage *
2 pks Bratwurst *
2 pks Italian Sausage *
almost 5lbs Hamburger
1 gallon Milk
28ct prilosec- dh's meds *

My total before savings was 125.97 + tx
my bonuscard savings were 24.11
manf. coupons 11.95
doubled coupons 1.20
total savings 37.26
Total after savings 88.71
Tax 2.62
Total Spent  $91.33

Edited to add that all the items with a (*) beside it are the ones I had coupons for.

What is CVS?

Its a drug store like Rite Aid or Walgreens
