Catchin' Up......

First let me say thank you for all the birthday wishes!! Turning 30 isn't as hard as I thought it would be but then again my dad told me to give it a week before it hits you....lol  I got lots of phone calls with Happy Birthday wishes. My mom called early in the morning to sing Happy Birthday too me and to remind me I wasn't 30 quite yet that I was born at 9:21 at night so I had all day to be 29 before I was actually 30!!  My little brother who isn't so little anymore actually he's bigger than I am and married with 2 kids, even remembered to call. My older brother and his wife even sent me a card. My wonderful hubby sent me flowers and then took us all out to dinner at the Olive Garden. All in all it was a nice birthday!!

Yesterday dh took the day off from work. First thing we signed the oldest up for Kindergarten, we concidered Home School but to be honest I just barely made it through school myself so I don't feel confident on teaching my children. I want so much more for then than I think I could give them. Its still an option though, with help from my very intelligent hubby, and we may concider it anyway and the reason I say that is my younger brother and his wife enrolled my niece into Kindergarten for this year, she went like 2-3 weeks of the begining of school and then they pulled her out and are homeschooling her. Some of what they were telling me is definately worth concidering, but we will see.

After Kinder Sign-Up, I had a dr appt. I was glad to have dh along to sit with the boys while I was in the exam room. Usually I would have had to take them in with me and well I have 2 boys so I really need to find an alternative for them then going to the woman dr with me. My oldest is 5 and full of questions so lets just say I was thrilled that dh took the day off to help me with errands and the boys.

We had lunch later and then walked around the Mall a bit.

After we got home the boys wanted to go out to play and who wouldn't with 75* weather!! So out we all went to enjoy the great day!!

We cleaned out the front flower bed and then our oldest wanted to practice with his bow and arrow so we all got in on that too. He is too cute!!

The youngest played in the sandbox and I enjoyed reading a bit while daddy and our oldest were shooting at the target!!

Dinner last night was Meatloaf- I tried a new recipe from the Kraft Food and Family Magazine that I get in the mail. It was simple...1 lb of lean hamburger, 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing, and 1 cup of water!! That was it. Dh doesn't normally like Meatloaf but raved about this!! With it we also had Potato Cakes- leftover from the Mashed Potatoes we had on Sunday and Home Canned Green Beans, it was a very good supper!!

For today, I am hoping we get more of that 75* weather from yesterday, I want to open up the windows again and do some more laundry and hang it out to dry.

The boys and I are getting company later this afternoon, their Great GrandParents, Maw Maw and Pap Pap are coming to see them, so I need to make sure house is company presentable. I also need to work on my crochet some today as well. March is half over and I am not as far as I want to be especially since I have lots more gifts to be working on for Christmas. I gotta get motivated and stay on task.

Dinner tonight is Leftovers redone, I think it was Monday that we had Kielbasa for dinner, I have some leftover so tonight we are are going to have Breakfast for dinner, Kielbasa, Breakfast potatoes, eggs and maybe Pancakes. Pancakes are my oldest and my dh's favorite!!

Thats about all for us today.  Hope you have a wonderful day!!
