Questions on corn

My corn keeps leaning.  It's toward the sun, so that's part of the problem, but doesn't explain why some lay down, completely, in the other direction.

I bought some stakes at the garden store, but now I don't know what to do with them.

Do I poke a stake in the ground and let them figure it out?

Do I tie the corn to the stake?

Do I make a tee-pee?

I tried looking it up online, but I can't find a site that specifically answers the question of how to use stakes with corn.  My husband keeps saying "I LOVE corn and steak."
