Flu...

Oh, I do hate the flu!  Might just be a cold, but it's nasty, whatever this bug is. 

Our littlest Love came home from church last Sunday afternoon and went straight to bed with a headache.  She was sick for 3 days, and has slowly recuperated. 

Yesterday, our middlest Love began having the same symptoms- headache, fever, runnny nose, cough.....yuck. 

She and I attempted to sleep on the sofa last night, and I am not feeling so hot myself today.  I am praying that I'm just very, very tired from lack of sleep and week's worth of sick kiddos.  I DO NOT want to have the flu!  I'm taking extra vitamin C, garlic, echinacea, just in case. 

Our oldest daughter has been planning her garden .  She checked out a couple of kid's gardening books from the library, and has been reading and making notes in her garden notebook.  Great learning is happening here, and it is all on her own initiative!  She even helped her sisters plant some flower seeds this morning.  There are 3 little terracotta pots all lined up under the dining room window.  Each one is labelled neatly with a coin envelope attached to the pot with a clothespin.  Very creative, this child is!  Just more proof for me that they truly do "learn what they live" ! 

OK, I'm going to find my seed catalogs and do a little planning of my own.  Right after I have a little "Cat nap"!

I hope everyone is feeling better also and that you don't get sick. I have been thinking about garden planning also. Thanks for commenting on the Lemon Verbena. I will definitly try it this year.
