Living Room....

This is a view of our little Living Room.  The Nature Table is in front of the window, with our shell collection, pinecones, bird nests, a pair of binoculars, magnifying glass and The Handbook of Nature Study.  More nature books are in the basket in front of the table.  The other basket hold cd's- there's almost always music playing in our home.  During the morning and "school time" I usually play classical music softly in the background.  Other times it's Todd Agnew, Third Day, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp- and if my husband is home Rich Mullins or Keith Green!  If you look closely, you can just see the pots of herbs on the windowsill outside.  I'm working on adding more plants to bring some life to the outdoors- there was nothing but bare earth and mud when we moved in but things are looking greener all the time :)!
