Fabulous Facial

OK, I picked up a nice little sample of Aztec Secret Healing Clay from the health food store earlier this week.  So this morning I decided to pamper myself a bit and give myself a facial .

I followed one of the recipes on the package:  1 part clay with 1 part apple cider vinegar.  I also added a couple of drops of Lavender oil just because I love Lavender!  Cool.

Before I put on my lovely shade of green clay mask, I decided to use the "icky tasting" wildflower honey I recently purchased to condition my hair.  I figured my hair wouldn't mind the taste nearly as much as I did ;) .

So, I lightly moistened my hair, then gunked it up really well with honey and piled it up on my head.  Next, I spread the awful smelling fizzy green gunk on my face.....   When the clay was dry I hopped in the shower and washed the goo out and off and followed with a hair rinse of apple cider vinegar and lavender.  Just a little head's up- that stuff stings freshly shaved legs!  OK, too much info. probably, but my face and hair feel great.

What's your favorite facial treatment???

The mail man came to your door before you stepped into the shower, reported an alien living in your house and you were carted away, screaming "No! No! It's me! Just let me take a shower!"

Shade of Green

I have an olive oil mask that I love. It's very moisturizing, smells a bit and is also a lovely shade of olive green. Depending on your shade, we could possibly be from the same planet. I made some castille shampoo bars for my hair, but I need to strip my hair first. Will vinegar do that?
